  • The premium plushes were revealed alongside the rest of a new collection celebrating Gold & Silver's anniversary.
  • None of the other items in the range, including the jackets, have been released outside of Japan yet.

Developers can be guilty of letting significant milestones pass by without recognition which is why it was nice to see Pokemon pay homage to Gold & Silver on the games' 25th anniversary last week. 168澳洲幸运5🅠开奖网:It revealed a range of very special merch to celebrate the occasion, the caveat being that merch was only available in Japan. It didn't take lon꧋g for some of it to arrive in the US and other Pokemon Centers around the world, though.

The headliners in Pokemon's Gold & Silver anniversary range are two premium plushes modeled after the games' cover stars, Ho-Oh and Lugia. The plushes have been described as premi🦹um for a few reasons. They're bigger than Pokemon's standard soft toys, they're posable, and they're slightly different colors to better represent the games in which they were introduced to the series.

Ho-Oh's plush is gold, and Lugia's is silver, and both of them are available to buy right now at the US Pokemon Center. Since the plushes are bigger and more p🅠remium than standard ones, they are a bit more expensive than most other Pokemon plushes too. $49.99 each which means $100 for the pair. Pokemon's Premium Gold & Silver Plushes Have Already Found Their Way To The US

They Weren't Exclusive To Japan For Long

That it has only taken a few days for the plushe🥂s to be released after the initial reveal in Japan is great news. The bad news is none of the other items in the Gold & Silver anniversary collection have followed them, and there was a lot of stuff. Most notably the jackets. Each game has its own jacket with Ho-Oh on the Gold one and Lugia repping Silver. The best part is the map of Johto lining the jackets, but for right now, those remain exclusive to the Japanese Pokemon Center.

  • Pokemon Gold & Silver Legends: Ho-Oh Plush.

Pokemon celebrated Gold & Silver's 50th anniversary by releasing a range of new merch to mark the occasion. Naturally, Gold's cover star Ho-Oh was the star of a lot of that merch, even getting its own premium plush in which the Legendary bird has been given a gold makeover to match the game from which it comes.

  • Pokemon Gold & Silver Legends: Lugia Plush

Part of Pokemon's Gold & Silver 25th anniversary celebrations, it revealed an entire range of new merch to celebrate the games that were effectively sequels to the originals. This premium Lugia plush is a part of that collection. Almost 18 inches tall with posable arms and a coat of silver since that's the game cover it graced.

The collection also includes some other fun novelty items like eraser tape that has been designed to look like a bottle of Moo Moo Milk and a trash can with "Nope, there's only trash here" printed inside. While we wait for all that other stuff to hopefully join Ho-Oh and Lugia in the US, there are new Squishmallows to distract us. Chansey and Eevee have joined Pokemon's Squishmallow collectiꦓon and both are available to p♚re-order now ready for their release in January 2025.
