Abra's Comm🌌unity Day wasn't what it could have been, but Niantic did a pretty good job considering the circumstances.
Once a month, Niantic holds a Community Day in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO. Each one spotlights a particular Pokémon. A Pokémon that is normally hard to find in the wild, or via hatching eggs, that will spawn more frequently for a fe🎶w hours during its Community Day. The shiny version of that Pokémon also tends to make its debut that day too.
March's Community Day was supposed to be dedicated to Abra. However, Niantic postponed the event due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Community Day took place this past weekend in꧒stead, but with a few tweaks. It lasted twice as long as usual, and any Incense used during the event lasted an hour rather than the usual 30 minutes.
While the event was not the same as any other Community Day that has come before it, it was never going to be. The point was to allow Abra to come to the trainers rather than vice v⛎ersa. We're not sure about everyone else, but our e🌌xperience was a good one. We managed to lure and catch three shiny Abra using Incense during the event, all without even leaving the house.
Niantic also teased a surprise for the event, which turned out to be Abra popping up in trainers' snapshots. Yes, the weathe𒅌r was great in most parts of the world and many players would have loved nothing more than to be hunting Abra outside the house. Some may have even been lucky enough to be able to do that. Considering the circumstances, Abra's Community Day was a success, and players may see more of the same should the situation not change between now and next mont💎h.
Niantic has been doing everything it can to make Pokémon GO playable during these unprecedented times. Buddy Pokémon are bringing more gifts, eggs take half the time to hatch, and Battle League can be played without the 3 km entry fee. Pokémon GO might be a game that players think requires going outdoors, but that really has 💛all changed due to Niantic's hand being forced by a global pandemic.
