168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Home has replaced the Pokemon Bank and the Pokemon Global Link, and it offers a way for players to move their precious Pokemon to a cloud-based storage system, just like in the games! If you have the Virtual Console version of Pokemon Crystal on your 3DS, you can use this feature tಞo obtain Pokemon from the Johto region.

In this list we're going to tell you which Pokemon you should import, as the Pokemon Crystal game brings rare and unique 'mons that are difficult to obtain in newer generation games. Of course, you can just import any Pokemon you like, specially if you're trying to fill out yo🐷ur Pokedex.

Updated on February 28, 2021 by Michael Christopher: Nostalgia for the older games of Pokemon is increasing all the time, and with the celebration of the series' 25th anniversary taking place at the moment, we thought it would be great to look back at one of the classics of the franchise. We've updated this list with more information for anyone looking for a hit of nostalgia and picking up their copy of Crystal.

10 Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile ౠ

What better way to start this list than with Crystal's starter Pokemon? Tꦫhese little guys are as rare as they can be, as the last time they were easily obtainable was in the ORAS games, where Professor Birch lets trainers pick one of them after they enter the Hall of Fame.

The best thing about importing them from the VC Crystal game, is that Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile will come with their Hidden Abilities unlocked, which are Leaf Guard, Flash Fire, and Sheer Force, respectivel🍃y. You can either transfer your starter as soon as you can or just breed one and import it as soon as it hatches from its egg.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The new Pokemon Legends: Arceus trailer showed that Cyndaquil will be offered a𝕴s a Starter choice, but it's unclear if there will be any link between that game and the main series. So, this might still be one of the only legitimate wa🔯ys to obtain this Pokemon and transfer it up. Don't forget — Generation II introduced breeding, so you can always produce more Cyndaquil in Crystal!

9 Red 🐟Gyarados

A𒈔h, the famous red Gyarados. This shiny Pokemon was probably the first shiny Poke encountered by many, as trainers could find it by just progres🎃sing in the story.  You can catch this cool giant water snake at the Lake of Rage, where it's battled once you've reached a certain point in the story.

While it's possible to encounter a red Gyarados in other games, as every shiny Gyarados is red, this one is just so easy to get that it's really worth the effort. Just compare finding a shiny Poke waiting to be caught against spending hours fishing for one. Its stats and moveset a🤡re those of any other Gyarados, b🅠ut hey, it's shiny!

Over the years, a few "guaranteed" (or at least very easy🐼-to-catch) shinies have made appearances in the games. However, this one is the only shiny you're required ✅to battle to progress a main series game, and is one of only two ever — the second is the shiny Celebi in the Mystery Dungeon series.

8 Celebi

Speaking of Celebไi — it's also another Pokemon that you should for sure transfer up.

Celebi, just like any other Mythica♍l Pokemon, is rare enough that few players have had one of them in their teams. Of course, there are those that were lucky enough to have received one when it's being given away, and others who have received a... susꦛpiciously shiny perfect IV Celebi when wonder trading.

But if you weren't one of those trainers, then you might want to know that you can add a legal Celebi to your collection if you have access to a Virtual Console Crystal game. You just have to enter the Hall of Fame 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to receive a GS ball, then take the ball tᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚo ಌKurt who will inspect it for a day. When he returns the ball to you, you'll have to go to the Illex Forest shrine to battle a wild Celebi.

7 ⛎ Any Pokemon With An Useful Hidden A🌠bility

Hidden Abilities function just like168澳洲幸运5开奖网: any other Abilities, but the unique thing about them is that they're extremely difficult to have on your Pokes. They're mostly unlocked by using cert꧃ain gameplay mechanics or under certain special circumstances, as you won't be ablไe to find a normal wild Pokemon with one of these rare Abilities just wandering around in most cases.

Now, when you transfer any Pokemon from a Virtual Console game, it will come with its Hidden Ability by default. This is extremely useful if you want to breed competitive Pokemon with Hidden Abilities, like Slowbro, wh𝔉o the Regenerator ability, or Gyarados, who has the Moxie Ability, just pick any!

6 🅺 Kantonian and Johtonian Pokemon

If your Pokemon journey began in either the Sun & Moon or Sword & Shield games, then you probably don't know about the original forms of certain Pokemon. Pokemon like Meowth, Ponyta, and Slowpoke ori🍎ginally appeared in the first generation of the Pokemon games, and they were different in looks, movesets, types, and sometimes stats.

Pokemon Crystal lets you catch the Kantonian and Johtonian variations of certain Pokes. Ponyta, Meowth, Farfetch'd, Weezing, Mr. Mime, Corsola,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: and Slowbro can be found in their original variation, and you can then import them to your game through Pokemon Home. Note that some regional forms can be traded in-game with certain NPCs in the Sword & Shield g🐼ames, but this is another fairly easy way 🔯to grab them.

5 Ho-Oh

Ho-Oh is one of the most famous Pokemon of the franchise, and it's the Trio Master of the Legendary Beasts Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. This legendary bird Pokemon would be a nice addition to any trainer's collection. Since the introduction168澳洲幸运5开奖网: of Dynamax Adventures, you can now catch Ho-oh in 🍷the Crown Tundra. However, before this, there weren't many legitimate ways to obtain one. Even with Dynamax Adventures, you can only catch one.

This Pokemon can be caught in Pokemon Crystal after 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you've beaten the game. Now that you're the Pokemon Champion, you just have to catch all Legendary Beasts, then travel to the Tin Tower where the Wise Trio Sages will reward you with the Rainbow Wing. After you've done all that, you just have to go to🎐 the top of the Tin Tower to face Ho-Oh.

4 Lugia

Just like Ho-Oh is the Trio Master of the Legendary Beasts, Lugia is the Trio Master of the Legendary Birds, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. This legendary bird is pretty useful if you💦're looking for a fast defensive Pokemon, and it will come with the extremely rare Multiscale ability, which 🃏makes Lugia take reduced damage from attacks when it's at max HP.

Catching Lugia is easier than catching Ho-Oh, as you don't need to catch other Pokemon beforehand. Just head to Pewter City, find an old man near the exit to Route 3, and then talk to him so he😼 gifts you aꦜ Silver Wing. Now head to the Whirl Islands where you'll find her after doing some exploration.

Like Ho-oh, you can catch Lugia on the Crown Tundra in the Dyna𝄹max👍 Adventures, but you can only catch one.

3 The L𝓡egendary Beastꦗs

The Legendary Beasts are three legendary dog-like Pokemon named Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. And just like the other Gen II Legendaries, you can catch them in the Dynamax Adventures system, or transfer them up from the VC Crystal game.

Finding Suicune is pretty easy, as you can just go to where it is once you've defeated Team Rocket at the Johto Radio Tower. Justꦐ head to Ecruteak C꧋ity, enter the Tin Tower, then catch Suicune, that's it! Sadly, catching Entei and Raikou isn't as easy, as you'll have to track them across Johto using your Pokedex. Just make sure to put them to sleep as soon as the battle starts as they'll try to flee from battle.

2 ꧑ Pokemon With Unique Moves

With every Pokemon generation, movesets and Move Trainers are changed, which can make Pokemon unable to learn certain moves t🃏hat they could learn before. But here's 𝓡the thing: if you've legally taught a move to a Pokemon in an older game, which can't be taught in newer games, you can still import the Pokemon to Home and then transfer it to newer games and it will keep its move.

An example of this is the TM move Zap Cannon, which in Crystal you can teach to a Pikachu or a Gengar using a TM. You can't do this in games that came after the Gen II games, as Zap Cannon lost its TM status. There are many other moves that can be taught in the Crystal game🦋 that are difficult to ♒teach on other games, just look for them!

Not all of these moves are useful on the Pokemon you can teach them to, but it's worth looking and seeing if there's anything you can benefit from with this method. If nothing else, it can create an interesting exclusive moveset, purely for the fact that it can't be obtained anymoreಌ.

1 🤪 Competitive Pokemon From Johto

Certain Pokemon from the Johto region are a must-have for competitive trainers, so if you're thinking about jumping into the competitive scene of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword & Shield games, then you're going to love these Pokemon.

Some Pokemon like Mantine and Skarmory are highly-desired in the competitive scenes, and while you can import them from Pokemon Crystal, you'll haജve to car✅efully breed them to remove their less useful Hidden Abilities. Other Pokemon like Heracross, or Scizor will come with more desired Hidden Abilities.
