Nintendo launched 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Home on mobile and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Switch last week, revolutionizing the way in which trainers store their Pokémon. It allows players of all Pokémon games to store their Pokémon all in one place, and even transfer them between games. With a little bit of careful finagling, it's even possible to transfer Pokémon caught on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Game Boy Advance titles into Pokémon Home. Pokémon caught on pretty much every game where catching Pokémon is the aim of the game can be transferred into a trainer's storage on Home. The "pretty much" caveat needs to be added at this moment in time as there is one glaringly obvious omission at present. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO. Although promised by Nintendo, Pokémon GO players are currently unable to transfer their caught monsters onto Home, and then 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword and Shield.

When Will GO Come Home?

Although annoying, it does make sense. The regular series of Pokémon games have all been developed by Game Freak and follow the same formula. Pokémon GO is something different entirely and likely requires a little more work to match up compatibility with Home and other Pokémon games. T𒊎he ga🌌me is made by a different developer, is played on a different platform, and is ultimately a very different game.

As for when Pokémon GO will link up with Home, right now that is anyone's guess. It is listed as "coming soon" on Home's website but on the bright side, there has been no attempt to sweep it under the rug and forget it was ever mentioned. It is clearly being worked on and it makes sense that Home would be released without it for now. Trainers can gather up all their other Pokémon and then add ones caught on GO when the time comes.

GO-ing Home Is A One-Way Trip

Chances are trainers won't have too long of a wait on their hands to start transferring Pokémon from Home to GO. Pokémon's next Direct might focus on it, or it could arrive alongside the first of Sword and Shield's expansion packs later this year. There's also the possibility that it'll arrive without much warning, Niantic seems to enjoy doing that on occasion. Our guess would be sometime this summer, though. Any sooner than that and Nintendo might as well have waited for GO to be ready before releasing Home.

As for what GO players will be able to do when it is added to Home, the same as pretty much all of the other games compatible with the storage system. Any Pokémon caught out in the real world will be compatible with Pokémon GO and can become a part of your collection.

However, it's a one-way trip. Sword and Shield will remain the only games that Pokémon can pass freely in and out of, so make sure you're certain you no longer need that Pokémon in GO before making the transfer. Pokémon currently unavailable in Sword and Shield won't be eligible for transfer so like many other Pokémon right now, ones transferred from GO to Home may be destined to live in the limbo that is Home.
