When it comes to the Pokemon world, there's a lot that we just ꦅdon't know. One topic that isn't dived into too often is the concept of food. People eat meat. Is that meat, at least sometimes, the delicious remains of a dead Pokemon? Probably.

The 18 Str♕ongest Normal-type Pokem൩on, Ranked
༺Normal types might seem weak, but they include some surprising Legendary Pokemon.
That's the problem with Pokemon. They look like animals. They are basically animals. Look at Miltank. It's a giant pink cow. Humans have been looking at cows with hungry eyes for millennia. Do we seriously believe none of those farmers in Johto do theꩵ same? The point is that humans totally eat Pokemon – there is hard evidence of this.
Updated October 9, 2024, by Andrew Scariati: With the Scarlet & Violet generation's DLCs firmly behind us, it seems a good time to revisit which edible Pokemon exist in the series. With yet another entry hailing from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Indigo Disk DLC, there's never a shortage of edible Pokemon to enjoy, especially as you're making sandwiches in Paldea.
21 Alcremie
Alcremie never had a shot at not being consumed by humans, merely due to its appearance. After all, Alcremie is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:just a pile of cute cream.
Luckily, instead of getting dismembered or farmed by humans, Alcremie has chosen to share🧸 its trea🌳ts with them.
According to some Pokedex entries, Alcremie will treat the trainers it trusts with cream-covered berries. For the more cynical of you, it shouldn't be hard to imagine how Alcremie across the world 𓂃might be used as a cream source in select res⛄taurants.
20 Nacli
Generation Nine introduced seve♓ral unique designs, and one of the more memorable ones is the Rock Salt Pokemon, Nacli, and its evolution line. This line, l༒uckily, once again lives a more cooperative life with humans instead of merely being their prey.
Nacli was considered treওasured in th🥀e old days, sharing its precious salt with humans. It also creates salt constantly, so giving it away is not a big issue either.
19 Toedscool
Toedscool is the Paldean variant of the iconic Kanto Pokemon Tentacool. This distant relative is a Ground and Grass-type and lives on land. Of course, Paldean people have decided they make a great food item somehow.
In its Scarlet Pokedex entry, Toedscool is described as having flaps that fall from its body, which are chewy and very delicious. It feels weird 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:how normal and nonchalantl꧟y the Pokedex mentions a Pokemon's body part as chewy and tasty as if th൲is was a food review.
18 Veluza
Veluza is another Pokemon that was released in Generation Nine, and it's also part of the Paldean human diet. On the bright side, though, Veluza seems to have found a way to completely bypass a violent encounter🍷 with them by shedding its meat.

Pokemon: The ꧃14 Legendary Trios, Ranked Weakest To Strongest
Legendary Pokemon are some of the coolest,🥀 most powerful creatures in the series. But could Articuno stands its 🍃own against Rayquaza?
According to the Pokedex, Veluza discards its spare flesh to boost its agility, which regenerates, so it's not an issue for Veluza. The sp🎃are flesh is described as having a mild but delicious flavor. Paldean people treat their Pokemon as food, don't they?
17 Klawf
Once again, a poor crab-like Pokemon that seems to be an edible Pokemon delicacy to the people of the Pokemon world. Kla♍wf's claws are used for cooking. As with many Paldean Pokemon, it can conveniently grow its parts back, so there's that.
It is funny how many Paldea-native Pokemon have evolved to grow♛ back their body ♚parts that humans have learned to enjoy. It's both sad and impressive at the same time, and Klawf is just another example.
16 Shuckle
While humans don't eat Shuckle whole, which to be fair, would be difficult because of its shell, there is a part of this strange little Pokemon that people do eat, its body fluids. As gross as that may sound, it's true. One of its Pokedex entries states that Shuckle hides under rocks, 🎃keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries.
The berries mix with their body fluids to become juice. If that were all, we might be inclined to be exceedingly lenient here and say that perhaps people are aware that Shuckle can be juiced but customarily refrain from doing so. But then another Pokedex entry specifically notes that Shuckle's♔ juice is delicious, so there's that.
15 Kingler
Kingler and its pre-🐼evolved form Krabby are both crabs just like the ones you may have eaten. Have you seen American buffet lines where king crab is on the menu? Do you think most people wou🧔ld care if, oops, that crab on their plate was a Pokemon?
There's even a rat🦄her suspicious curry di𒐪sh that resembles Kingler in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
During the original anime, Ash asks Professor Oak if he has eaten his Krabby, to which Oak states that Ash's is too small, and he would have eaten Gary's instead as it is much larger. Okay, so either Professor Oak is a🌠 cuisine pariah, and no one else would ever think of doing so, or it's commonpl♔ace, and Oak's just going with the flow. Either way, at least one person is confirmed to, at minimum, eat a Krabby.
14 ꧂ ඣ Barraskewda
Barras𝓡kewda hails from Sword & Shield's Galar region. Based on its name, this evolutionary line of Pokemon is based on the real-world barracuda fish. Cool. Good going, Barraskewda. According to its Pokedex entry, Barrask꧙ewda makes a nice meal.

Pokemon TCG𝕴: The 6 Most Valuable Sloꦫwking Cards
Slowkꦆing's most expensive cards have seen it all during their time in the Pokemon TCG.
The entry in question talks about how Barraskewda's flesh is surprisingly tasty. Well, then, the case is solved. People have consumed Barraskewda and recorded their findings. It must havꦍe been hard to catch them though, considering how fast they are.
13 Gabite
Gabite's scales can be ground up and used in medicinal powders. Taken on its own, this could mean that human hunters have murdered them many times in the name of scienc⛦e. Thatꦿ would be rude, but again, we're talking about humans here. They tend to be rude.
Thankfully, Gabite's got two great things going for it. First, its scales grow back. So we don't have to assume the ꦑworst this time around. Also, it's a dragon, so let's be real; the hunters would have a really hard time apprehending a Gabite.
12 Appletun
According to its Pokedex entry, Appletun has skin on its back that is especially yummy, which children used to have as a snack. It is called the Apple Nectar Pokemon, after all, but it does feel weird 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:how much of a fooওd item this Pokemon really is.
Maybe there's some sugar inside? A dash of cinnamon, a hint of nutmeg. You know a hint of vanilla extract goes a long way. ๊Oh sweet Arceus, in the skies above, we're the monsters.
