The Pokemon Company has an endless stream of ideas for officially themed Pokemon merch, and pretty much every brand in the world wants some of that Pokemon rub. The Pokemon Company also isn't afraid to team up with brands known for selling somewhat expensive stuff, proving that again via its La Creuset collaboration. The high-end cookware range will be released in Japan and select other count🌼ries this July, and this is onl𒈔y part one of the team-up as a second wave of products has already been promised.
Pokemon's La Creuset collection will be released in Japan, South Africa, and a few other countries in Asia 🤪and Oceania. There's no word yet on whether it will even𒅌tually be rolled out to the US and other parts of the world.
For those unfamiliar with La Creuset - as I was until this Pokemon reveal - the company is famous for creating high-quality cooking items and matching tableware. Its cast iron products are what it's really known for, and its Pokemon off🍸erings in that arena are the headliners here - particularly the shiny blac🏅k Pokemon Marmit. Measuring 22cm across and its lid covered in outlines of different Pokemon and Pokeballs, the Marmit is the most expensive item in the range so far, priced at 47,300 yen ($300).

Larvesta Joins Pokemon's Collection Of Life-Size Plushes
The only time a four-foot bug showing up in your home shouldn't be met withඣ sheer panic.
Slightly cheaper is the Pokemon Cocotte. A vibrant Pikachu yellow with the iconic mascot's tail printed on the side, you'll need to part with 39,600 yen ($252) if you want to cook with it in your kitchen. If you want to cook with it at all, that is. If I were to pay more than $200 for a cast iron pot, especially an officially licensed Pokemon one, it would be for display purposes only. Partially because it looks good, bu𝔍t mostly because I'd be terrified of ruining it the first time I use it.
Everything Included In Wave One Of Pokemon's La Creuset Range
If you're keen to own something from Pokemon's La Creuset collection, you don't necessarily need to spend hundreds of dollars to do so. Sets of stacking mugs, plates, and bowls, all of which can be bought separately but also match if you want to go for the hat trick, are also available. It costs more than $300 if you want the plates, cups, and bowls, but each set has five pieces so you'll have yourself 15 things for th🍸at price rather than just one, admittedly pretty stunning, cast iron pot.
Rounding out the collection is a Pikachu kettle that matches the cocotte, and tableware sets modeled after the Pokeball and Master Ball designs. As noted, this is far from the first time Pokemon has given its fans some high-end, expensive stuff to buy. In the last year alone, The Pokemon Company has partnered wit꧑h Tiffany t🍒o create pendants that cost thousands of dollars, and with fashion brand 🌠Fendi to cr꧑eate Dragon-type bags that are also very expensive.
