When I was a kid I used to think Lance was such a chad. The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elite Four’s dragon master is the most terrifying fight in Red & Blue. All five of his could use Hyper Beam, a high-powered attack that could wipe out most of your team in a single hit. If it did, they could even use it again without needing to wait a turn for the cooldown. Lance wasn’t just a strong enemy, he was also a hero. In Gold & Silver, Lance shows up at Team Rocket HQ to help you beat the villains, before tossing you the Whirlpool HM and returning to his duties as the new Pokemon League C𒁃hampion. He’s cool, he’s confident, he wears a cape, and he’s literally the master of dragons, so what’s not to like? It turns out, quite a lot.

If you’ve been a Pokemon fan since the beginning, you’ve probably heard that Lance had an illegal Pokemon during his stint in the Elite Four. His level 62 Dragonite knew four moves: Agility, Slam, Barrier, and Hyper Beam. “But that’s impossible,” you’re probably saying. “Dragonite can’t learn Barrier!” You’re absolutely right, Leon was somehow able to teach Dragonite a move that no other Dragonite can learn, making it an illegal Pokemon that should never have been allowed in any sanctioned Pokemon League bat꧅tle, let alone in an Elite Four battle. Somehow, Lance was not disqualified for this. As we know, Lance went on to become the champion of the league after Red stepped down in Gen 2. Game Freak even referenced the crime in 2016 when it gave away Lance’s Dragonite to anyone that participated in the Kanto Classic Wi-Fi Tournament.

Getting away with using an illegal Pokemon during t😼he most prestigious Pokemon tournament in the region clearly emboldened Lance, because his cheating did not stop there. In Gen 2, Lance’s Aerodactyl knew Rock Slide. “But that’s impossible,” you’re definitely saying this time. “Aerodactyl couldn’t learn Rock Slide until Gen 3!” Right again, another illegal Pokemon. How did Lance keep getting away with this? As the champ, he would have had every eye in the region on him. His opponents, his critics, the League Competition Committee, and the commissioner of the Pokemon League Charles Goodshow (that’s canon) all would have seen Lance’s Pokemon and ignored it. I got my ass kicked by that Dragonite, and I think I should be entitled to some kind of financial compensation.

If that wasn’t already bad enough, Lance’s Dragonite in all post-Gen 1 games is level 47. And before you say it - I know that’s impossible. Dragonair doesn’t𝓀 evolve into Dragonite until level 55, everyone knows that. This is the worst offense of all in my opinion, because it doesn’t even help him win. A level 55 Dragonite would be stronger than a level 47 Dragonite, so he literally just did it to be disresp💟ectful.

Did I say that was the worst offense? Actually, I think trying to do a genocide might actually be a bit worse. In the Pokemon Adventures manga series, Lance isn’t merely a dishonest Pokemon trainer. He and the rest of the🍸 Elite Four come together with a plan to exterminate the human race for all their crimes against Pokemonkind. Lance uses his special abilities to brainwash Dragon-type Pokemon to attack Vermilion City. With a single mind-controller Dragonair, Lance managed to completely destroy the city and nearly managed to steal Yellow’s Pikachu. The Elite Four were eventually foiled by the heroes and Lance even became a good guy eventua🔯lly, but it’s not easy to forgive mass murder.

I thought Lance was the chad, but I guess he was the virgin all along. It just goes to show that you can’t let a cape fool you. No matter how cool the guy looks riding around on dragons with his maroon Dracula cape flapping in the wind, he might actually be a lying, cheating, megalo💦maniacal killer. Who could have guessꦡed?
