The scrambled footage teasing more information about Pokemon Legends: Arceus has ꧙been cleaned up and features a first look at Hisuian forms of pre-existing Pokemon.
Pokemon's official Twitter account dropped a strange video earlier this week that app🐬eared to have been inspired by The Blair Witch Project. The POV clip was incredibly scrambled and had been shot by a trainer traversing the snowy extremes of the Hisui region. In case you weren't already aware, that's where the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus will take place.
The clip was so scrambled that it gave away very little, which was obviously by design. The trainer discovers a new Pokemon you can't see before seemingly being attacked. The footage has now been cleaned up and reposted, and while the trainer was indeed startled and seemingly knocked over, it wasn't by the new Pokemon they were fawning over.
That Pokemon is indeed a new one, or rather a new version of a pre-existing Pokemon. Two of them, in fact. Hisuian versions of Zorua and its evolved form, Zoroark. Introd🌊uced as a part of gen five, the two Pokemon were originally dark types. That is certainly not the case for their brightly colored Hisui region counterparts which are shown looking right down the camera at the end of the teaser above.
The startled trainer gets a good look at Zorua and it is the Pokemon they can be heard describing, mistaking it for a Growlithe and a Vulpix. They are knocked down and scared off by the shadow, which is presumably another unannounced Pokemon, before getting a look at the Zoroark, though. The only thing other than the attacking Pokemon that remains unexplained is why the trainer is so excited about seeing wild Snorunt, or why they have and know how to use a camera despite admitting they don't even know what it is.
Zorua and Zoroark join the growing group of new Pokemon introduced via Legends: Arceus. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A bearded, Hisuian versio✃n of Growlithe has already been shown off, as have previously undiscovered evolved forms of Stantler and Basculin. What still hasn't been explained is why these Pokemon have been wiped from the face of the earth in present-day Pokemon. Hisui is just the Sinnoh region set hundreds of years in the past after all, which suggests some of these Pokemon may have gone extinct.
