S🦋ince they can't contain their own strength, they are "the very definition of dangerous", and you'll be tasked with taking them down using your own mega-evo🍨lved Pokemon.

We were also introduced to a few Legends Z-A characters, such as Urbain and Taunie, who will invite you to join Team MZ, a group dedicated to protecting Lumiose. Among their ranks is Naveen, "a fashion designer in the maki𒀰ng", and Lida, who "aspires to become a professional dancer".

When you're not protecting the city, however, you can explore the bustling streets to find 'mons, battle with trainers like Corbeau (head of the Rust Syndicate), and take on side quests, working with detective Emma to solve cases, helping locals with their problems, and aiding Mable, "the acting director of 🍌the Pokemon Research Lab".

Despite the lofty expectations placed on Nintendo from fans after the two-month run-up, with predictions ranging from more Switch 2 upgrades to remakes and even a Gen 10 reveal, not much else was shown off during the presentation today.
