In their continuing effort to no longer force players to use up a bunch of move slots for HMs with which to travel around the region, the makers of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon introduced new "Secret Techniques" in the168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Let's Go series. These Secret Techniques allowed the player's pa🌊rtner Pikachu or Eevee to fly, surf, move heavy objects, and more, rather than having to teach various HM moves to Pokémon and therefore waste their move slots, since many HM moves aren't very good.

You'll need to seek out certain people that are capable of teaching your partner Pokémon these techniques around the Kanto region. There are five in total, replacing Surf, Fly, Strength, Flash, and Cut. Of course, there are also special moves that both Pikachu and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Eevee can be taught separately from the Secret Techniques, meaning there are quite a few moves you can find aro𝔍und Kanto.

However, for the HM replacements, you'll want to talk to particular people. Here are all of the location𒉰s where these techniques for the overworld can be taught to your partner Pokémon.

5 Chop Down

If you're looking to cut down trees, especi♌ally the one that blocks entrances to Vermilion's gym, you'll need to find the person who can teach your partner Pokémon the Secret Technique Chop Down. This, o🌄f course, is meant to replace the original HM move Cut.

Like the original games, the player can be given a strategy for cutting down these weak trees aboard the S.♍S. Anne. You'll receive a ticket for the ship fr♊om Bill, and it can be boarded in Vermilion City.

On the ship, you'll have to deal with a few trainer battles and your rival before reaching the captain's quarters. He'll explain that he's seasick🐲 andꦇ you can give him a pat on the back. Apparently, that's enough to completely cure him of his sickness. As a reward for your help, he'll then teach Eevee or Pikachu the Chop Down technique, allowing you to enter Vermilion's gym.

4 Light Up

Replacing168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the HM for Flash is the new Secret Technique Light Up, whic👍h allows your partner Pokémon to illuminate dark caves. After Misty escorts you to Diglett Cave, you'll be back on Routeꦍ 2. One of Professor Oak's assistants will meet you here, and he's looking to teach you the Light Up technique.

This Secret Technique is necessary if you want any chance of seeing anything in Rock Tunnel. Fortunately, it's not really needed anꦅywhere else. Once, Flash was needed for the Seafoam Islands, but luckily it no longer is in this series. But you'll definitely want to have it to navigate the confusing maze-like structure that is Rock Tunnel.

3 ꧋ Strong Push 🐽

Formerly, the player would need a tough and strong Pokémon to use Strength if they wanted to move any large boulders that acted as obstacles in the series. Now, thou🙈gh, the player can 🦋help teach their partner Pikachu or Eevee the Secret Technique Strong Push.

Like the method for gaining the HM for Strength in the original Kanto games, the player will need to give the Warden of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Fuchsia City Safari Zone his Gold Teeth back. From there, he'll then teach the player's partner Pokémon Strong Push. Used to move large grey stones, it's incredibly useful in the Seafoa꧙m Islands caves.

2 Sea Skim

Surf was once one of the 🔯168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most useful and appreciated HM moves around, being both useful in much of the overworld as well as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a v꧒ery strong and competitively viable move in battles. But, like every other HM move, its been replaced by a Secret Technique in the Let's Go games.

This particular technique is called Sea Skim and allows your partner Pokémon to take you on a very cute surfing ride. If you're using Gyarados or Lapras as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a Ride Pokémon, you'll use them instead of the technique.

In Fuchsia City, the Safari Zone has been semi-replaced by th🌜e . Outside this building, there's a man with a Lapras. He'll then offer🌟 to teach your Partner Pokémon Sea Skim. Once you obtain the ability to fly on Dragonite, Charizard, or Aerodactyl, you can then use that to simply glide over most bodies of water.

1 Sky Dash

Another HM move that fans didn't mind having on their team was Fly, which was a pretty decent 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Flying-type move that was used by many in battles. However, it has been replaced like all the other HMs, this time with a Secret Technique called Sky Dash, which allows your Eevee or Pikachu partner to carry you through the sky on a ဣch🍸air lifted by balloons.

Again, like Sea Skim, this technique can be bypassed after obtaining tﷺhe ability to use Flying-types as Ride Pokémon. However, until then, you'll need Sky Dash to travel quickly across the Kanto region without walking and backtracking. Inside Celadon's Game Corner, the player can find Rocket's secret hideout.

A man standing outside the Game Corn﷽er is happy to teach your partner Pokémon Sky Dash. However, you'll first need to defeat Team Rocket within the secret base.
