The Master Train♐ers all specialize in one of the 151 different Kanto Pokémon and will only use a single version of that Pokémon in battle. This means that there are Master Trainers for the likes of Charizard, Mewtwo... and Magikarp.
There are certain rules in place for a battle against a Maste🦹r Trainer, with the player being restricted to using the same Pokémon as the Master Trainer. This means that you will need to use a Charizard in order to fight the Charizard Master Trainer.
The player is also forbidden from using items during the Master Trainer battle, which means that you can't use Hyper Potions to secu෴re your victory.
The Pokémon used by the Master Trainer will also possess unique moves, which means that they may ꦍhave moves that give them a type of advantage against your Pokémon.
The reward for defeating a Master Trainer is that you will steal their tit𓆉le from them and other characters in the game will refer to you by that title.
The existence of the Master Trainers means that a player will have a ton of grinding to do in order to beat them. One can only imagine the amount of time it's goi𝐆ng to take to defeat the Ditto Master Trainer and the Metapod Master Trainer.
It remains to be seen whether there will be a Master Trainer for Meltan, due to the fact that there are 151 of them suggests that the final Master Tra🍷iner will possess a Mew.
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee will be released for the Nintendo Switch on November ♊16th.
