Pokemon revealed it will add e🐻veܫry single Eeveelution to its life-size plush collection this summer. The rollout of those plushes has begun, and even though only ꦺthree of the eight new additions are available right now, it will cost you a small fortune if you want to catch 'em all.

Pre-orders are now open for the Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon life-size plushes. Understandable that Pokemon would begin with those three, as initially, when there were only 151 Po๊kemon, those were ꦺyour only Eevee evolution choices. They're all very big, ranging from a little over 25 inches long to the largest of the three, Jolteon, which is 32 inches long.

They're a🅘vailable in the US and at other Pokemon Centers outside of Japan, too. When the life-size Eeveelution collection was announced, when exactly they would be available to buy outside Japan, if at all, wasn't clear. Since the🔯 prices were only listed in yen at the time, I could only estimate how much the plushes were going to cost in the US.

Now the pre-order listings for Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon are live, we know how much they cost, and it's as we feared. In keeping with other life-size Pokemon plushes, these new additions are expensive, priced at $399.99 each. If you're lucky enough to be in a position to be able to afford them all, that's just shy of $1,200. You'll need to do it soon, though, as pre-orders for these first three plushes close today (May 15).

Assuming the other five plushes will also cost $400 each, that's more than $3,000 for th🎀e entire collection. They might end up costing even more. I have no clue how ✨tariffs might affect the Pokemon plush industry.

Even buying just one will be a big financial decision for most people, and bear in mind, there are five more of these to come. If you want one and you have a favorite Eeveelution that isn't among these first three, hold ﷽your fire, you don't have too long to wait. The US release of the plushes appears to be a few weeks behind Japan. That hopefully means Umbreon and Espeon will be released in June, and then Sylveon, Leafe✨on, and Glaceon will round out the collection in July.
