The t🌠wo sync pairs will be available until February 18 at 9:59 pm PT, b𒐪ut start at different times. Serena and Whimsicott are available now while Dawn and Alcremie can be unlocked on January 31 at 10 pm PT.
Both of these special sync pairs are themed 🐭after the desserts they're giving to their friends. Dawn looks like a strawberry shortcake, while Serena's costume is similar to a black forest gateau (that's our 𝔍presumption anyway). They both look adorable and will be available through the Scout Pairs feature in the game.
Serena and 🏅Whimsicott is a fairy-type based pair with Stun Spore that causes paralysis on the opposing team. Meanwhile, Dawn and Alcremeie is also a fairy-type pair that can dish out Charm and Fake Tears to lower the opponent's attack and special defense. If you like these tactics and Pokemon pairs, you'd be happy to know you can max them out to a six star EX potential. Once you've reached this goal, you'll get an additional Palentine's Day costume for the character.
A sync pair event wouldn't be right without a story path! This time, we'll 𝄹be following the duo searching for ingredients to make sweets for all their special friends. You can earn some scrumptious items along the way like Melty Chocolate, Fluffy Frosting, Fresh Berry, and Chocoberry Cake that can be turned in for team-building items for your characters. Take note that you'll have to finish Chapter 1 to get access to this event.
