The player's average encounter won't be affected that much, as most Pokémon have the same general HP number. Every time a battle is approached while in auto-mode, everything will slow down and eventualꩵly turn off, leaving the player to tap the A button until the enemy has bee𓆏n taken care of. This option is particularly terrible in such a slow-paced game, as it feels like Spike Chunsoft wants the player to fall asleep at the wheel, only to be wakened up by the call of battle.
