When you think of a great shiny Pokémon, you might not think of something orange at first. It's a bit of a polarizing color, either being loved or hated by many people. But, when done right, it can looꦺk really fantastic on certain Pokémon.

The world of Pokémon has a ton of great shinies, but they're typically in colors that ar﷽en't as jarring as orange. With that said, there are definitely some orange shinies that really elevate the Pokémon and redeem this warm color. Here are some of the best orange shiny formಌs, ranked.

10 Guzzlord

There are few shiny Pokémon that are fully orange from head to toe, with many of them having orange elements as part of a larger color scheme. Guzzlord is an example of this. This 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ultra Beast i💙s mostly white when shiny, ꦍwith orange taking the place of its typical y🧸ellow around its fangs and detailing.

There's something so coo🌃l about🌄 the contrast between the stark white and the orange elements. It conjures elements of a jack-o-lantern, which Guzzlord kind of resembles in a way.

9 Vileplume

The Oddish line is based directly on plants, more specifically the Rafflesia flower. Oddish, Gloom, and Vileplume's counterpart Bellossom are all great, swapping their regular coloring for shades of light green and pink. Vileplume, on the other hand, is a much more jarr𓆏ing color, but it isn't a bad thing.

Vileplume's large red flower is swapped for a nice orange one, contrasting wi꧋th the light green of its body. It's an e🤪ntirely different pair of colors, but still feels like Vileplume at its core. It also seems more "poisonous" to match Vileplume's typing than its regular coloring.

8 Shellder

Part of what makes shiny Shellder so great is how unapologetically ORANGE it is. While many orange shinies are a dark orange that seems reddish or pale oranges that are a bit washed out, Shellder is bold, primary orange. It's a direct antonym to the regular purple that Shellder take🔴s, with orange and purple being very different colors.

The orange Shellder has is also complimentary to Cloyster's beautiful blue that it has when shiny. It's strange that the "Shel🦩lder" that's latched onto Slowbro and Slowking doesn't turn orange, though.

7 Exeggutor

There are a couple of grass types that are typically brown and green but turn orange, red, or shades of yellow when shiny.꧅ This is usually great, as it looks like their foliage is turning color for t♍he autumn season. The Chikorita family is a great example of this.

However, the orange shiny category also has a good example of this phenomenon in the form of Exeggutor. Both the Kantonian and Alolan💮 forms of Exeggutor adopt an interesting golden color for their trunks/bodies and dark orange-red for their foliage.

6 Breloom

Breloom is a great Pokémon in a lot of regards, especially in terms of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:its interesting mushroom-based design. Its regular form is different𝓀 sh🔯ades of beige-brown and dark green, with red claws and head spores.

Even though mu🌸shrooms and fungi don't typically turn orange and red during the fall, Breloom does mimic this autumn-coloring in its shiny form, trading the green of its body and head for a nice dark orange. It ties beautifully with the beige elements and gives it a very visually-appealing look.

5 Raikou

Electric-type Pokémon are almost always varying shades of yellow, blu🍰e, and white, and Raikou is no different. The legendary beast from Generation II is normally mostly yellow with black stripes, a purple cloud❀ on its back, and a light blue face plate and tail.

When shiny, the purple cloud detailing turns bright yellow and the body color becomes a night light orange. It ma💙kes Raikou lo🅠ok more like a tiger, on which it's probably heavily based, and has an overall more cohesive palette.

4 Cramorant

Like Shellder, Cramorant is unapologetically and aggressively orange. This Generation VIII bird Pokémon is a Water/Flying-type that has dark blue 💎plum𝓰age with a grey tuft of feathers on its chest.

However, its shiny form takes the blue and jumps to the opposite side of the color wheel, becoming a very bold and in-your-face shade of bright orange. The only thing that could make this shiny better is if the Pikachu and Arrokuda it fishes up in its Gulping and Gorging forms were also sh🐼iny.

3 Cacturne

Like Breloom and Exeggutor, Cacturne is a plant-based Pokémon that takes on a nice red and orange shiny. Normally, Cacturne is two shades of green, resembling an evil cactus with its fitting Dark/Grass-typing. The green 🌄is an obvious choice for a cactus Pokémon, of course.

When shiny, the darker green becomes an orange-red and the light green of its body becomes a lighter orange, almost yellow. It's a harsher contrast t♈han its non-shiny form, but a welcome one. Given its rese🐽mblance to a scarecrow, it's a perfect fit.

2 💫 Chandelure

What color is fire? Orange, of course! It's interesting how many Fire-type Pokémon have different colors for the "fire" on their bodies. Chandelure, the once-unique Ghost/Fire-type Pokémon, is an example of this, sporting some cool purple flames🌳 that speak to its ghostly origin.

When shiny, though, it returns to what fir𒈔e normally looks like — orange. The "face" of Chandelure slightly 🌊shifts to a very pale shade of green, and its eyes turn from yellow to pink, but the most drastic change is the flames. It could be boring, but it somehow works.

1 Ho-oh

Despite being called the Rainbow Pokémon and being associated with rainbows, Ho-oh isn't actually rainbow-colored, instead just being a combination of red, green, yellow, and white. Despite this, its shiny is truly a brꦐilliant array of colors. It still isn't rainbow, but it's even better.

Ho-oh swaps its green and red for varying shades of orange, gold, and yellow. The result is a gorgeous plumage that makes this legꦺendary bird sparkle and gleam with beauty. It's a truly stunning Pokémon. The silver elements around the rest of its body also help combine with th✅e gold to reference.
