The Pokemon franchise has existed for almost three decades now. It’s ju♋st as strong as ever from its core games, spinoffs, and other multimedia projects like the anime. This franchise will seemingly never quit until the world itself blows up. It prints money as some memes have pointed out.

On the subject, there are some things in the fandom some think are a bit too ov🐠errated for one reason or another. In contrast to that there are then underrated titles some feel need more love. Taking into account🤡 fan opinion online as well as review averages on Metacritic, let’s see what some of these games are.

10 Overrated: Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee

This game is basically a remake of Pokemon Red/Blue plus Pokemon Go. While it looks great on Switch with the redone graphics, the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon battles versus trainers are incredibly easy and no ba🌞ttling with wild Pokemon leaves players with no sense of reward. The aggregate reviews of 80 are way too high.

9 Underrated: Pokemon Sword/Shield

These are the lowest reviewed main entires in Pokemon, not counting the special edition of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire aka Pokemon Emerald. They are actually tied with a few other entries at 80, but in contrast to the last game, those scores are too low. Yes, it 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:repeats most ♐of the same old 🥀Pokemon formula from the past twenty some years but it’s still a well made game. Plus the openness, new region, and quality of life upgrades ꦬmake them the best to play ye🔯t.

8 Overrated: Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go was a sensation when it launched in the summer of 2016. It has added some more Pokemon in the l🍷ast few years and has had a constant slew 🐭of updates.

It’s not like the developers aren’t dedicated to the app but th๊e question here is should they be? Again, it was fun for a time but the craziness to which people still play this game is remarkable. There are better ways to interact with the Pokemon world.

7 Underrated: Pokemon Conquest

This is the most underrated Pokemon game of all time. The reviews are p🌼retty spot on with it getting an average of 80. However, this is a༒ case where reviews did not help with sales as they were not great compared to other games in the franchise. This tactical Samurai Pokemon RPG was a weird combo but one that worked out well and should be explored again.

6 Overrated: Pokemon Snap

This was another game that was revolutionary at the time. Back in this era, seeing 3D Pokemon represented in a game was new. Now that modern entries have done that, going 168澳洲幸运5开💖⭕奖网:back to this game now feels a bit empty. It’s a ro🅘ller coaster that has lost all of its flair thanks to modern technology. As overrated as P𓂃okemon Go is, that’s basically a better example of this idea.

5 Underrated: Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire

There have been 168澳洲幸ꦚ运5开奖网:two pinball games in the Pokemon series. The first for Game Boy Color was a good proof of concept and the second, this game, was a refined experience for the Game Boy Advance. They’re both good Pokemon games and pinball games at the same time. The fact that there hasn’t be💯en a sequel and or support to buy and play these games easily today is a crime.

4 Overrated: Pokemon Sun/Moon

Pokemon Sun/Moon♊ getting an 87 seems absurd especially when looking back at Pokemon Sword/Shield again. These two games unnecessarily changed up the formula from gym battles to weird gauntlets. T🃏hey overall complicated things. It’s not a bad game by any stretch but they are overrated literally with that score. The night/day cycle alone is enough to dock these things points.

3 Underrated: Pokemon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR

There is a big reason why this game is underrated. It’s because i🐼t never left Japan. This entry is dedicated to both Pokemon Trading Card games though because they are much better than one would assume 🃏from a physical card game going digital.

2 Overrated: Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

This entry could go to any game in this sub-series of Pokemon. It began in 2006 on the GBA and despite the low review scores, it keeps getting sequels. The highest rated one is 69 on Metacritic which is Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. This is an example where reviews don’t matter because the f﷽ans that💎 like this series are dedicated to it apparently. That's all💛 well aღnd good because people should love what they love. It can also be a bit hard to understand when better games like Pokemon Conquest don't get more chances.

1 Underrated: Pokemon Picross

Picross, in general, is not a video game series that gets a lot of press. When it comes to digital puzzle games the populous adores, it's Tetris. Still, Picross still quie🌼tly comes out to varying degrees of appraisal. This Pokemon crossover may not have much to do with Pokemon, but it is indeed an underrated puzzle game worth a look.
