Shiny Pokémon were introduced in Generation II and have been a staple of the Pokémon franchise ever since. Many Pokémon swap their coloring for something entirely different, while some remain mostly the same with slightly different shades. Some colors are common in shiny forms, like green. But some colors are not as common for whatever reason, like purple and black.

A good purple shiny can be great, o🌄f♒ten swapping warm colors out for a cool shade of purple. From light lavenders to deep violets, there are some really great shiny forms that are purple. Here are just some of the best, ranked.

10 Lapras

This seafaring Water/Ice-type is typically a nice blue to blend in with its watery surroundings, perhaps reminiscent of the Loch Ness Monster. When shiny, it swaps in the blue for a n🎉ice pinkish-purple. Its underbelly also changes from a manila-white to ﷽a more tan beige, which matches the purple a bit better than the original color would.

One of the great things about Lapras' shiny form is that it isn't jarring. Often, the shiny coloring of a Pokémon seems w🐟eird because we're used to the normal colors. But Lapras transitions seamlessly and looks natural.

9 Slowbro

Slowbro is an often underrated Pokémon. Slowpoke seems to get all the attention as a fan-favorite joke character. Slowking appeared in and is frequently shown in various media. Slowbro, on th𒅌e other hand, kind of gets left behind.

But i𒁃t definitely has the best shiny color of the three. Slowbro swaps its base pink for a nice shade of soft purple that was very trendy a year or two ago. The shell on its tail changes from heather𒆙-grey to a strange but nice yellowish color, which contrasts nicely with the purple.

8 Feebas

Feebas is meant to be an ugly, sad, sickly-looking Pokémon, representative of its terrible stats and amazing glow-up into Milotic. Naturally, its yellow and brown coloring with weird liver spots reflect this. It's some amazing trolling from Game Freak to make the fans work 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:so hard to find and catch such an ugly Pokémon.

When shiny, Feebas swaps its terrible yellow and brown for a deep purple with darker purple l🐷iver♏ spots. The blue fins become a darker blue that's almost black, making the entire design much more deep and cohesive.

7 Orbeetle

One of the newest additions on this list is Orbeetle, who was introduced iꦆn Galar as part of the new Generation VIII Pokémon. This Bug/Psychic-type normally resembles a ladybug — red with spots. Its face, legs, and claws are brown and yellow. All in all, this entire evolutionary line has a bunch of random colors all mashed together.

Orbeetle's shiny color, on the other hand, is much more consistent and appealing. The red wings and shell are swapped for a beautiful shade of purple, and the rest of its body becomes brown and blue. Its shiny 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gigantamax form is especially nice.

6 Kingdra

The world would be a better place if there were more pink and purple dragons. S🦹imilar to Lapras, Kingdra is a water-based Pokémon that swaps a blue coloring for a nice shade of purple. Also like Lapras, the shade is on the line between🐭 pink and purple.

Regardless, it's great, and it's ꦑa fantastic look for Kingdra. The entire Horsea line is nice, with Kingdra's pre-evolutions being different shades of blue. But Kingdra is arguably the nicest of the three and the most drastic change for sure.

5 Tsareena

Tsareena is one of the best designs for a Pokémon in rece✱nt years. The Grass-type Pokémon from Alola is based on the mangosteen, which is known as the queen of the fruit. This is played up perfectly with Tsareena's crown, pink thigh-high boots, Queenly Majesty ability, and fruity green and pin𒁃k design.

When shiny, Tsareena swaps her green "hair" for a very nice light purple. It ties her feminine charm together perfectly and gives her overall color scheme a perfect com꧋bination that really makes the hot pink pop.

4 Pinsir

The second Bug-type on this list, Pinsir is another insect that's given a great purple shiny treatment. Like many other purple shinies, part of its design turns from a neutralಌ color to a shade of yellow. It's unclear why that happens so much𝔉, but since yellow and purple are complementary colors, it's great.

Pinsir swaps its ugly💝 ꦇbrown coloring for a weirdly distinct shade of light purple, which is a pretty drastic change. Its pincers turn a gross shade of yellow, but the overall design works cohesively.

3 Zoroark

Zoroark might be the best example of an edgy and cool Pokémon that was given a color scheme that would match its intended personality. The black and red is a classic combo of evil and shady origins, which Zoroark is meant t𝔉o invoke.

When shiny, however, it reall꧋y jumps to the next level. The red parts of its mane, tail, and claws are swapped for a deep royal purple, which arguably works for 💝it much better than the red. The new color palette is appealing, coherent, and has a lot of attitude that matches Zoroark perfectly.

2 Delphox

Delphox is a very controversial Pokémon, with a ton of fans disliking its design and preferring its pre-evolution Braixen. But regardless of this, the Generation-VI 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fire starter 𒐪is a truly underrated shiny. It's a drastic change to varying shad🌄es of purple and orange from its original red and yellow.

The vibe of Delphox's shiny coloring gives it a much more witchy feel, which is perfect as it is based on a magic-user or wi꧅tch who uses fire. The orange and purple perfectly invoke this vibe, pairing amazingly with the grey upper portion of its body.

1 Florges

Florges is a ve🍌ry colorful Pokémon. Its base design has a nice shade of green alongside white, black, and a different colored flower depending on its form. The changing flower color is perfectly reminiscent of its origin as Flabébé who latches onto its favorite flo🅰wer.

Florges takes this flower-love and incorporates it into its full design. The color ꦅof its favorite flower as the base stage becomes an integral♏ part of its design. But the shiny form takes it to the next level. Florges' shiny color swaps the green of its stem for a deep purple and the black chest plates for a nice blue. The white-flower shiny Florges is truly striking.
