Whichever way you slice it, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon is one of the hottest properties in the industry. From the mainline RPG series to t168澳洲幸运5开奖网:he countless spin-offs (not to mention 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the popular Pokémon TCG), this series i🥂s just an absolute goldᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚmine. Does it have its flaws, though? Absolutely.
Though 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword & Shield brought us some nice quality of life advancements (the ability to access your Pokémon boxes right from the menu screen and move relearner/nickname💛 rater in Pokémon Centers, for instance), there’s still a lot that could be done to update some elements of the series.
10 ꧟ Make All Hand-Holding & Tutorials Optional 🌸
Do we know how to catch Pokémon? 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:By and large, yes, we do. Do we know what Pokémon Centers are? Darn right we do. We’d recognize that welcoming red roof anywhere. Why did Pokémon Sun & Moon’s Hau and Lilli🧸🌜e feel the need to babysit us through the first part of the game, then?
Of course, each new generation of Pokémon brings legions of new fans who have never played before, so this sort of support could be needed early on. However, it wouldn’t hurt Game Freak to give us the option to skip through all of it. This has been done before, and Sword & Shield extended it 🔥further than ever before, but let’s make it the new norm in every aspect of the games.
9 Equal Cu🐬stomization Options
The choice between versions of each game comes down to a lot of factors. A preference for one cover Legendary over the🎉 other, the exclusive Pokémon one edition gets, frien𓆏ds’ choices… all sorts of things have to be taken into account.
One unfortunate factor of the choice between a male or female trainer is one that shouldn’t be an issue: the clothing options available to each. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the player is free to don any piece of clothing in the game regardless, from flowing dresses to traditional tuxedos. Why should clothing items and accessories in the Pokémon world be any different?
8 Hyper Training Shouldn’t Be Limited To Lev📖el 10♏0
Game Freak have definitely done a lot to streamline the process for breeding competitive Pokémon. We can appreciate that. Items lik🐭e Nature Mints, Exp. Candi♑es, and Bottle Caps make it much easier to breed than it ever was before.
There’s one little niggle we’d like to see rectified, though. As it stands, Hyper Training– which allows the player toไ max out a given Pokémon’s IVs for the cost of a Bottle Cap for one stat or a precious Golden Bottle for all of them at once– can only be undertaken by Pokémon at level 100. If you train a lot of Pokémon and/or don’t have the Exp. Candies to spare, it can be a heck of a grind to reach the maximum level. The process would be even more player-friendl♈y if this requirement were removed.
7 🎉 NPCs That Can Perform Evolution Trades 𓄧
Back in the days of Game Boys the size of bricks and cumbersome Link Cables, the social aspect of the Pokémon games wasn’t very intuitive at all. We’ve come a long way since then, with wireless access to fellow trainers from around the wo🤪rld to battle and trade with.
This is a bit of a classic complaint, then, but one that’s still valid for a lot of players. Bro🥂adband or no broadband, a good number of Pokémon require trades to evolve and it can be awkward to arrange this. A permanent NPC who will quickly and convenie🔜ntly do this for you would be great.
6 ﷺ Add The Capacity To Learn Egg Moves Later
We’ve already touched on the fact that breeding competitive Pokémon is often a time-consum🐼ing and frustrating process. It can be 🤪easy to get those IVs and that Hidden Ability in the bag, only to discover you’ve locked yourself out of a certain Egg Move.
As the name suggests, Egg Moves are those that are available to the Pokémon in question only through breeding with a compatible critter that knows it. In Sword & Shield, Max Raid Battle Pokémon can sometimes have Egg Moves naturally (a Weavile with Ice Shard, for 𓆉instance), as can Brilliant Pokémon (the ones that have an aura around them on the overworld), but this is very unreliable. Even an obscure and pricey way to tutor these moves to Pokémon after the fact w♉ould be a real help.
5 Customizable Poké Ball Designs 𝕴
Of course, this is the sort of issue that won’ౠt matter at all to certain players. If a Pokémon is battle-ready, it’s battle-ready. The Poké Ball they’re in doesn’t affect gameplay in the slightest, merely offering a slightly different animation or visual.
For some trainers, however, this is a big issue. What if you’re running a mono-Water team (for some reason) and you want all of your critters in Dive Balls? With the likes of Max Raid Battle Pokémon sometimes being such a pain to catch, a subpar ball could well fail entirely. What if Game Freak added a machine that could ‘p꧑aint’ a Pokém🔯on’s Poké Ball to look like another?
4 Add🧜 A (Very) Rare Item That Can Giv𓂃e A Pokémon Its Hidden Ability
The Ability Capsule is a fantastically useful item, allowing the player to change a particular Poké💞mon’s Ability to its other available one. The purpose of this, of course, is to prevent players from having otherwise-perfect Pokémon rendered useless because they don’t have the Ability they need.
Sadly, this item doesn’t enable a Pokémon’s Hidden Ability. It shouldn’t, reall༺y, as they’re supposed to be sought after, but still. Certain Ma﷽x Raids are so rare that particular Hidden Abilities are a tremendous pain to get. As with Golden Bottle Cap, a very rare item that can give a Pokémon said Ability (events ones being excluded) would save a lot of strife.
3 🅰 Let Us Always Have Some Access To The Full Pokédex 💃
If there’s one key component the series has always emphasized, it’s the whole gotta catch ‘em all thing. Oddly, this isn’t always possible, which is exactly where 168澳洲幸ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ运5开奖网:the controversy surrounding the National Dex came about with Sword & Shield.
While 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Home came along to somewhat bridge the gap, it was much too late to prevent all the bad press. For future titles, it’s important that, whether all Pokémon are directly available in-game or not, we can collect a full set in one way o𓄧r another. Fans do not like having their favorites excཧluded.
2 Achievements & Goals, Pokémon Ho꧑me Style 𓄧
Speaking of Pokémon Home and catchin’ ‘em all, one thing the main series has never really explored is the idea of achievements. Rival consoles and Steam continue to prove the popularity of the con💝cept, while Pokémon Home demonstrated that it fits rather well with the Pokémon series.
Many trainers give up their quest to fill the Pokédex because there’s no real impetus, no major reward for the grind. If the game kept motivating the player for collecting ‘sets’ of certain critters, as Home does, it could keep us going. A system similar to the periodic rewards for finding the Isle of Armor’s many Diglett could work well. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO has a similar system in place with its re🌼search♛ goals.
1 ဣ Hard Mode Or Optional Challenges
A criticism frequently levelled at the Pokémon se♋ries is that it’s just too easy. While they’re hardly designed to be the most hardcore RPGs around, this is a valid point.
A potential hard mode wouldn’t have to include bottomless pits, insta-death spikes, or any of t🐟hat silliness (though that’s an hilarious idea), but instead offer restrictions that a lot of veteran players already abide by. Imagine a Nuzlocke mode, for instance. With the series’ increasing focus on competitive mechanics, it’s clear that Game Freak knows that a lot of their fanbase consists of old hands who would appreciate something like this.
