168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Red & Blue are the geneses of what the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon franchise has blossomed into over the 20 plus years since their release. The games are known for introducing the world to the original 151 Pokémon and finding a way for kids to become attached to them. The games featured large worlds that seemed incredible for the time in the industry. When looking back what were the best and worst locations in and around the entire Kanto region? Let's now take a look at the 5 coolest and 5 lamest areas in Pokémon Red & Blue.

10 🍃 Lame: Pallet Town

This entry will likely get blowback as many fans have a nostalgic place in their heart for Pallet Town. When you first start your journey the little enclosed place feels safe and comforting, but the 💫moment you break through the tall grass you quickly understand how lackluster it is. Pallet Town is most cherished at the very beginning and end 🍷of your journey, but during the majority of it, you won't think twice about your home town as the many locations you visit in the Kanto region offer much more in a variety of ways.

9 ๊ Cool: S.S. Anne

In 1998, no one ever expected that the first set of Pokémon games would include ship traversal. The S.S. Anne doesn't only transport the player, inside it is filled with numerous non-playable characters. They offer players the opportunity to level up and train, while at the same time s♈everal of them offer context, lore, and even quests to complete. It comes back full circle in the sequels as players can revisit Kanto in via the S.S. Aqua, a sister ship of the S.S. Anne.

8 Lame: Viridian City ꦜ

Viridian City is a location that's meant to click by the time trainers are coming to the end of their journey. Not only is it known as the location before the forest 🐲where you can catch Pikachu, but it also doesn't even have a gym leader present. By the game's end, you come to find out that its gym leader is Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket.

Unfortunately, he's supremely underwhelming as the 8th gym leader of the Kanto region and♌ leaves a lot to be desired. The best thing Viridian City has going for it is that you have to visit it in order to get to the Elite Four.

7 ♑ Cool: Safari Zone

The Safari Zone since its introduction has always been an idea that's made a lot of sense considering it served a specified functio✱n. There was a collection of rare Pokémon who didn't fit simply being in the wild and needed an additional level of difficulty in order to acquire them. The Safari Zone's battle and catch system were flawed, but it did provide the player with slightly alternated gameplay. Areas that serve similar purposes have been used in the series over the years, but none of them hold the same importance or reverence as the Safari Zone.

6 Lame: Cinnabar Island 🏅

Now, Cinnabar Island has a few hot spots that can be perceived as interesting depending on how invested you are in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon universe's lore. The reason it is lame in general is that it is so small and doesn't offer a whole lot for t🐷he player despite it being one of the last locations you gain access to. You'd expect a large deal of pomp and circumstance, but in reality, it's a much more maligned reveal than that. The developers might have thought the same as the island gets destroyed by volcanic activity in the sequels.

5 Cool: Seafoam Island🐎 🐎

Seafoam Island is a collective of entrances into what looks to be an icy cave in the middle of the ocean. Players make their way through it in order to come face to face with the Ice-type legendary bird, Articuno. You may be wondering why Arཧticuno's location makes the list, but the others don't, and that's because of its typing.

The others are each Fire-type and Electric-type which are less useful to trainers with a Charizard or Pikachu, whereas a🐬n Ice-type like Articuno can prove to be quite invaluable once you decide to cha𒉰llenge the Elite Four.

4 ꦛ Lame: Diglett's Cave 🍷

Here's the thing, Diglett's Cave serves the player with the ability to get bet🦂ween Pewter City and Vermillion City quite efficiently. The problem it serves is two-fold as it can become annoying running into Diglett after Diglett in the dark, and it also requires you to have a Pokémon with the Flash HM move if you plan on not being lost for centuries. The Pokémon trainers relegate to knowing all of the HM moves often weaken the team's overall strength and Diglett's Cave makes it so you need one on your active roster in some capacity.

3 🌸 Cool: Lave𓆏nder Town

Not only does Lavender Town have some of the best music in Pokémon Red & Blue, but it also challenges the player emotionally. Pokémon Tower is a structure that's home to the graves of hundreds of fallen Pokémon. Trainers visit the location in order to grieve and overcome the loss of these creatures they built invaluable bonds with. Little did anyone know that the first Pokémon titles would cover death aꦑnd grief in such a straigh🤡tforward way. Do yourself a favor and look up the popular theory about your rival Blue's Raticate.

2 🅰 Lame: Rock Tunnel

The Rock Tunnel is like the previously discussed Diglett's Cave, but worse in almost every way. Instead of running into Diglett and Dugtrio, which are semi-interesting Pokémon, you're stuck bumping into Zubat, as well as defensive Pokémon like Geodude and Onix. Rock Tunnel is also much larger and eꦓvery bit as dark.

The smartest strategy is purchasing a good amount of repel items and gathering all of the items in one go so you can get through it and never have to return under any circumstance✱s.

1 ꦚ Cool: Cerulean Cave

Pokémon Red & Blue weren't large games due to being products of their time, but they weren't without surprise or intrigue. The moment players became Pokémon Champion many assumed that their journey was over and the only thing left to do was complete the Pokédex. Little did they know that a mysterious area in Cerulean City was now available to enter. Inside this cave is a legendary creature who happened to be the thing of tales. Mewtwo is sit♛ting in Cerulean Cave waiting for someone to come along and challenge it.
