Of all the player characters from the mainline 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon series, Red may be the iconic and recognizable of them all, as he was the original Pokémon Trainer from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Red and Blue.🐻 He is so popular, the overly silent protagonist even returned to future titles as opponents in the Pokémon World Tournament and Battle Tree.

While Kris is nowhere near as well known, she does have the unique status as the first-ever playable female character in Pokémon, with her even going on the challenge Red at the end of the generation two games. The real question is: which of these two trainers♓ would win in a battle?

10 Signatur🍃e Pokémon: Red

There are a handful of different iterations of Red over the games, manga, and anime, but in all instances, his signature Pokémon is either well known or well-loved by fans. While Pikachu may be his most immediately recognizable, as it is the franchise mascot, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Charizard is often the Pokémon most aꦿssociated with his character and is one of the most popular Pokémon in existence. Kris, on the other hand, doesn't really have a signature partner in any of her iterat෴ions, making this an easy win for Red.

9 End-Game📖 Team: Kris

As it is in-game canon that Kris can challenge and defeat Red atop Mt. Silver, it's clear that she has the superior team in the end. Red may have a powerhouse team, with all three Kanto starter Pokémon, Snorlax, either Lapras or Espeon, and his ridiculous Pikachu, but limiting himself to only Kanto Pokémon hurts him in the long run. His hardest to beat team is arguably the version from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:HeartGold and SoulSilver, with both his Lapras and Blastoise taking full advantage of the endless snowstorm to devastating effect, it's still not enough to come out on top♉ against Kris as he still restricts himself to only Kanto Pokémon.

8 🦋 Most Impressive Feat: Kris ꧅

Red may be a well-renowned trainer in his own right, and is seen as a legend to many of the more powerful trainers in Kanto, the feats performed during his adventures have nothing on Kris. While 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Team Rocket was temporarily disbanded by Red, Kris saw fit to destroy them for good until their strange return as Rainbow Rocket in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

7 Most Gym Badges: Kris ൲

Kris beat not only the Elite Four, but also obtained the badges of two different regions, a feat that Red has yet to perform himself. It should have been a fairly simple task for someone as powerful𒈔 as Red, but even though he went into isolation to train on Mt. Silver, he hasn't taken the Johto gym challenge.

As of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, he seems to have left that kind of challenge behind him, with both Red 🍬and Blue traveling to Alola to find trainers worthy enough to battle the two stronge𓆏st trainers in Kanto.

6 Rival: Tie 🌱

Pokemon Silver in G&S

Blue is easily one of the better rivals in Pokémon, as he not only stays one step ahead of the player at all times, but is one of the only rivals to actually beat the Elite Four before the player and become champion. While Silver doesn't reach these same heights in the generation two games, his backstory as Giovanni's son, as well as his growth as both a trainer and a person makes him a far more entertaining rival than Blue, as Professor Oak's grandson often comes off as overly obnoxious and overly sure of his own skills. His likeness and personality were also used for Paul in the Pokémon anime, being remembered as oಌne o🔯f the best rivals Ash has ever had in his adventures.

5 🌳 Anime Counterpart: Red

This is an easy win for Red, as Kris' anime counterpart was only shown in a single episode as a minor character, while Red has multiple different iterations in animated form. His most significant is as Ash, the central character of the entire series, as many of the same Pokémon Red caught in his adventures were also caught by Ash, including Pikachu and Charizard. Red was also represented more closely to his video game version in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Origins anime, where he went on to catch the legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo.

4 🔴 Manga Counterpart: Red

Like in the anime, Red has a more solid representation in the manga than Kris, ℱwith him being the central protagonist for the Pokémon Adventures manga as 🦄well as returning multiple times in subsequent series.

Although Crystal, Kris' manga counterpart, seems tꦍo have caught significantly more Poké༺mon in her time as a trainer, the few that Red has caught are much more powerful and capable in battle, with him even catching Mewtwo.

3 ﷽ Overall Impact: Red

Even with newer fans of the series, Red is an instantly recognizable character across all forms of Pokémon's media and has impacted the world of Pokémon much more than Kris ever has. While this is mainly due to her limited💙 appearancesᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ across the series, she has also had a much smaller impact on the stories she has been a part of and, subsequently, she gets left behind when compared to the original Pokémon master himself.

2 Legacy: Red ꦏ

The Pokémon series timeline may be more than a little convoluted, particularly when taking the multiple remakes into account, but between Red and Kris, only one of them makes multiple appearances across the series or is even mentioned by NPC's. Unfortunately for Kris, her character was replaced with Lyra in HeartGold and SoulSilver, meaning she has very little i🌠mpact on the world in her short time as a character. Red, on the other hand, is still talked about years later by a few NPC's as well as making multiple returns to challenge the player in b🌳attle.

1 Winner: Red ꦬ ও

It's clear to any long time fans of the series that Red would win this fight in the long run, despite technically losing to her during the generation two games. Despite this loss, it's unlikely Red would leave it at that, and would continue his training on Mt. Silver until the inevitable rematch. Kris also doesn't make enough of an impact on the series as a whole to know for sure if she could beat Red if they were to battle a second time, as she only appears in Pokémon Crystal.
