Despite that, it's always exciting to see the pool of Pokemon in any game grow, explore the different interactions, and observe the meta evolve. Here are the best Flying-type Pokemon you can currently get your hand on in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
15 Talonflame ꦰ
Talonflame is well-known for being one of the strongest fully-evolved early-route bird Pokemon, especi🐟ally in the games it debuted in. Fire/Flying-type is a wonderful combination that strikes terror into many different potential foes, and it has an imposing appearance to boot.
Talonflame is the quintessential physical attacker and makes for a great addition to any party with strong attacking moves like Brave Bird and Flare Blitz, which it can learn as soon as it's fully evolved. Despite the recoil damage, they're both well-worth using.
14 ꧒ Corviknight
This dashing knight of a bird is a bulky demon on the battlefield, and not only in stats. Its plumage makes it look like a heavily armored wa💎rrior, and this is reflected in its high Defense stat.
Support builds don't often excel in the generally easier main game, but a bulky Corviknight with Roost, which it learns through Egg Moves and picnics, and Swagger, can disrupt any battle safely. Really, though, we're keeping Corviknight around for how cool it looks.
13 Staraptor
One of the most iconic birds of all Pokemon, Staraptor is a surprisingly usable Normal/Flying-type hybrid, and with the two Poke🤪mon before i𝐆t on this list, makes up a trifecta of early birds who do, in fact, get the worm.
With a terrifyingly high Attack stat and the moves to make good use of it, a Staraptor is going to make a dent in any opposing team, if not sweep completely. When compared to its compatriots, we reckon it pips them to the post thanks to its cool hairdo. It can also Tera into a Fighting-type to boost it's iconic Close Combat, which is great.
12 Flamigo
Speaking of high Attack stats, Flamigo found early popularity thanks to its stunning ability to kick dents into any opposing walls, as well as how easy it is to find. Fighting is a great offensive typing, and paired with the balanced Flying, Flamigo is a great addit🐻ion to the repertoire of bird Pokemon, despite its simple appearance.
You'll have to dip into your TM stash to get Flamigo a great Fighting-type move, such as Close Combat or Reversal, but it's worth it You have a fabulous and reliable pal on your hands with one of these.
11 🐷 Kilowattrel 💜
Evolving from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the adorable Wattrel, Kilowattrel is an Electric/Flying-type monster of the skies with its fantastic Speed and Special Attack. It's almost like the Electro Ball move was made for it.
In addition to great stats, Kilowattrel has some neat defensive moves. Wind Power is its exclusive ability, charging it up when hit by wind-based moves like Blizzard, which will put a damper on opposing Ice-types' plans, and other Kilowattrel can surprise enemy Electric-types with Volt Absorb. Either way, this bird is staying alive long enough to Volt Switch away from true danger.
10 Altaria
There's something purely joyful about Altaria, right? The fact that its feathers look like clouds, and its permanently happy expression, they all contribute to Altaria's allure. Luckily, it's also a very good combatant, boasting good defensive stats and the wonderful Natural Cure ability, which helps it against status ailments.
Altaria has a lot of great tools in its kit. It can go supportive with moves like Sing and Safeguard, or fully offensive with nasty spec⛦ial attacks such as Moonblast and Dragon Pulse. This Flying/Dragon-type can even learn Ice Beam wi♚th the help of a TM.
9 Gyarados
What more can be said about Gyarados that hasn't already been said before? It's a truly iconic Pokemon, worthy of the term. It's the best story too, a lowly Magikarp struggles and Flails about until it manages to gather enough energy to evolve into this beast, the majestic Gyarados.
The result is a physically aligned powerhouse with access to some of the most ruinous attacks in the metagame. While it'll fall over to any sort of static shock, you can rely on Terastalization to mitigate the four times weakness. Then it's all about Intimidating opponents and setting up on them via Dragon Dance.
8 Noivern
Just as the goofy Magikarp becomes a tough Gyarados, the adorable Noibat will eventually turn into aferocious Noivern. This draconic bat is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the quickest Poke⭕mon yo𝄹u can get, and it'll use that Speed to great effect in a fight, Boombursting and summoning Hurricanes all over the battlefield.
What makes Noivern particularly fantastic aren't its stats, however. It's the compelling, sleek, interesting design that'll secure this wyvern a place on your team. Note the massive ears, that only serve to amplify its sound and wind-based moves, aren't they brilliant?
7 Honchkrow
If you're looking for a boss to lead your team into battle, you can't do much better than Honchkrow. It's the head honcho, after all. Going really well with its brilliant design that resembles a mob boss's puffy overcoat and dashing hat are Honchkrow's stats, which make it a devastating mixed sweeper.
Basically, this means that it'll excel no matter what attacking moves you give it, though it does prefer the physically aligned. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Being a Dark-type, it also has access to some pretty nasty, strategi☂c moves, such as Comeuppance, which will punish any Pokemon that dared🦂 to attack it.

When it comes to sheer, raw power, you don't get much better than Salamence. This absolute beast of a Pokemon boasts incredible attacking stats, a fantastic movepool, and a cool design that guarantees you don't regret putting so much effort into that Bagon in the first place.
Thanks to the extremely wide movepool, Salamence can🐲 become basically any kind of attacker you want. You can have it covering four different offensive typings, turn it into a setup sweeper with Dragon Dance, or go all-in on the most powerful moves in the game, like Outrage, Tera Bl🐻ast, and Draco Meteor.
