Pokemon Scarlet & Violet took the world by storm when they were revealed and fans can't wait to get their hands on them in the latter part of 2022. The games seem to be set in a region based on the Iberian Peninsula and Spain, with a game design core similar to that of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Outside the starter Pokemon and brief glimpses at the various biomes in the game, there is still plenty left needed t🙈o be revealed. A new region gives forgotten Pokemon the🔥 chance at redemption by way of regional forms.
10 Noctowl
Since the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Gold & Silver fans have wondered why Noctowl, the final form of Hoothoot, was made to be a Normal and Flying dual-type instead of a Dark and Flying dual-typing. The logic here is t🔴hat owls are predominantly nocturnal, so a Dark-typing feels more fitting.
A new regional form could not only fix this egregious error, but it could also lean into a design that feels much more intimidating and spooky, making Noctowl the predator it's meant to be.
9 Mightyena
The Pokemon series tends to nail it when it comes to creating beloved canine-inspired creatures that fans latch onto. With Mightyena of the third generation of games that wasn't necessarily the case, though. It was the final form of Poochyena, a cute Dark-type puppy that evolved at level 18.
Mightyena is meant to resemble a hyena but has also given off skunk vibes. A regional form leaning into the Iberian wolf aesthetic c𒁏ould bring this Dark-type dog known as the Bite Pokemon 🦂back into the spotlight.
8 Luxray
Despite many assuming that Luxray is meant to resemble a lynx, its design is similar to Arcanine in that it gives off both feline and canine energy equally. Pokemon as a company tends to lean into giving popular Pokemon additional love with each new generation and with as beloved as Luxray is, it wouldn't be shocking to see it get a new regional form.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The fourth generation is hot𝄹 right now with the last two games focusing on the Si♉nnoh region, so leaning into that by giving its native Pokemon ne🦹w forms seems like the appropriate move at this time.
7 Gogoat
Pokemon 🧔X & Y are considered by most Pokemon fans as the clear duds of the mainline entries. That being said, it was still home to some adorable new creatures.🌳 One of those was the transportation-focused Grass-type goat known as Gogoat.
A regional form that leans more i𝄹nto its Ibex-like design 💝elements would not only function with the region in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet but would allow a whole new generation to fall in love with Pokemon hampered by the games it was featured in.
6 Mandibuzz
Vultures aren't the first thing that comes to mind when people think about Spain, but both the bearded and cinereous vultures are native to the country and are both endangered and near-threatened. Mandibuzz is a Pokemon that drew the short stick, sharing the fifth generation with the much more beloved predator bird Pokemon Braviary.
The combination of Dark and Flying-types isn't uncommon in Pokemon, so changing the typing of a regional variant of Mandibuzz could go a long way in making it more popular. Vultures may eat scraps, but their large wingspan and scarier vibes make them a perfect candidate for an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:incredible Pokemon design the series has yet to nail.
5 Stoutland
The Catalan sheepdog is arguably the most recognizable dog breed of the Iberian Peninsula, and every Pokemon generation needs its fair share of lovable cani♋nes. Stoutland on its own is an adorable Pokemon design meant to be a fusion of the Maltese and Shih T🌊zu dog breeds.
A regional variant of the Big-Hearted Pokemon could take advantage of its design featuring lon♕g hဣair and lean into the iconic look of the Catalan sheepdog.
4 Chatot
The reveal trailer for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet showcased several bird Pokemon, which isn't a coincidence. The region, if based on Spain, would likely feature plenty of flying Pokemon as the real-world country is known for its scenic bird-watching locales and diversity of winged creatures.
Chatot ties into both the regions bird-centric roots while also leaning ♔into the musical culture Spain adorns. Regional forms should, at their core, help give less popular Pokemon a chance to win the hearts of fans, and Chatot seems like the perfect candidate for this opportunity.
3 Ludicolo
Ludicolo, a Water and Grass dual-type from the third generation, sports one of the more eccentric Pokemon designs in existence. Its Hoenn form s🔯eems to be inspired by Mexican culture, which makes the idea of a Spanish-influenced regional form feel like a natural move.
Its design could have it looking more similar to the mܫembers of a traditional Spanish mariachi band and could possibly change one of its two dual-types. It could even hold a guitar and naturally learn sound-based moves.
2 Bouffalant ☂
The fifth generation did a lot for the 💖Pokemon series as it was the first generation to introduced 150 new Pokemon since 𒐪the original release of Pokemon Red & Blue. One odd choice in Pokemon Black & White, though, was the decision to not make Bouffalant an evolution of Tauros.
Either way, bulls and Spain go togeth𝓀er like peanut butter and jelly, so a regional form of this beast seems like a forgone conclusion at this point. Not having a bull front and center in this game would be one of the biggest missed opportunities in the history of Pokemon.
1 Roserade
When looking at Spanish culture and tourism, the bull-fighting events are synonymous with the country in an incredibly strong way. C💧arnations and/or roses are often associated with the celebration following a successful run by a matador in the ring.
Roserade is a Pokemon whose hands are each a flower, so making a regional form for it that fits the theme and aesthetic of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's region would be quite easy and natural. Its hands could even be a scarlet flower and a violet, respectively.
