But while these pokemon are usually species that can be found in the wild, y𒁏ou can also challenge some special ones as well.
You can find time-limite🃏d Tera Raid Battles to play online in the form of Battle Events. These will display some of the usual pokemon with different possible Tera-Types and techniques, and sometimes even pokemon that are𝓰 otherwise unobtainable in the game yet.
What Are Tera Raid Battle Events?
Tera Raid Battle Events are time-limited events that involve a special twist on Tera Raids, giving unusual Tera Types to already known pokemon or bringing immensely powerful pokemon that you can't find in the wild in the game, like Charizard or Cinderace.
These events are unlockable in the Mystery Gift section of the Poke Portal, and can only be found at specific times of the year depending on the event. Once you download them, you can find them in the Poke Portal like any other Tera Raid, or in the proper game in the form of Tera Dens, but recognizable by a distinctive glimmer around them.
