Introduced back in Generation III, Sharpedo has made headlines in the newest Pokemon games as a terror of the deep, stalking sea-dwelling trainers and helpless aquatic Po🅺kemon alike. With a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, it's definitely not one you want to run into regularly.

As a Water/Dark-type, it has an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:inherent nature to be aggressive, but that doesn't mean it's actually evil per se. Everybody's got to eat, including predators, so you can't reall🔥y fault them for that. While they are some apex predators of the deep, Sharpedo is ironically actually quite far (figuratively) from being the biggest fish in the pond.

10 They Spit Water𒆙 Out Of Their Beh𒀰ind To Move

Sharpedo from the Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor DLC

Sharpedo almost resemble a shark with half of its body missing. They look like somebody severed their back and tailfin or squished them down into a torpedo shape. In actuality, this is how they move so quicklꦺy and♏ swiftly through the sea.

There is an opening on their back that they breathe water out through like a jet, allowing them to chase prey at a ton of miles per hour. Players of Pokemon Sword & Shield's Isle of Armor know all too w♋ell what being chased on the water by a Sharpedo is like.

Despite their species being kind of on the smaller side, the rougꦍh skin on Sharpedo, called denticles, has helped it to become the monarch of the sea by giving predators who bite it a surprise gash.

The same goesꦕ for any human who attempts to pet it, but that's not recommended to do as you risk losing a hand — and possibly 🍒more.

8 ✤ They Eat Basically Anything

As seen in Pokemon Snap, Sharpedo will go after a lone Squirtle for an easy snack if they need to. They can probably get a Blastoise too or a Magikarp. However, their favorite ♏treat is a Wailmer.

They don't have much of a way in defense, are blubbery, and can probably keep a tummy full for a few days, so it makes sense. The only thing it would most likely avoid 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is a poisonous Tentacruel and its deadly limbs.

7 Their Jaw Power Has No Limit 💧

Many players were probably wondering why a Sharpedo would go after a Squirtle if they have a protective shell. Let's just say tꦑhat a Sharpedo could crush through t𒊎hat shell in about two seconds.

Sharpedo have been 🌠known to badly damage ships and bite through iron and steel. If their teeth fall out, fresh new ones always grow back in. There won't be any dental bills for this shark.

6 ♈ They Travel As A Pack🎐

Sharpedo have a lot in common with the sharks of the real world, but one thing they do that ꦜmost actual sharks do not is travel in groups. Sharks are pretty solitary unless it's mating season and are even known to attack and eat smaller sharks they come across.

The reason for Sharpedo's pack behavior is because they are somewhat smaller and more likely to be picked off by a Tentacruel or something if left alone. Sharpedo, based on their shape, also may b🧸e partially based on the Sunfish, a large fish found in warm and tropical oceans that has very few natural predators.

5 Th♈ey Hate Loud Noise

Sharpedo, like many oꦿther sound-sensitive Water Pokemon, do not like high-pitched loud noises and will attack any kind of device with a racket that makes them uncomfortable.

This is probably why they jump at your traveling device in Pokemon Snap and attacked Clemont's invention in the anime whe𒅌n the group was attempting to lure in a gold Magikarp, a device which they of course promptly destroyed.

4 They're Cowards ꦑ

Like most pack animals, it is a very rare occasion that Sharpedo will mess with a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon that is much bigger than them. In fact, when they attack Wailmer, they only do so ꦬto very sma🍸ll ones.

Most would definitely never have the guts to attacꦡk its second form, the massive Wailord. This is evident by the fact it fled when in the face of Lapras in N﷽ew Pokemon Snap, who was all too happy to chase it away from the Squirtle.

3 💃 They'♍d Probably Eat You

sharpedo with its mouth open

Sharpedo don't ♛really discriminate when it comes to what is food to them. In the wild, a meal is a meal for a meat-eating predator no matter what it is.

Thus, if coming upon a lone human who swam out a little too far, they would probably not h🐻esitate in the least to attack them. Pokemon lore has never confirmed if they are human-eaters, but it's more than likely that they are, considering their appetite for blood.

2 They'll Eat Your⛎ Boat Too ♚

While Sharpedo might be scared of bigger Pokemon, they are not at all scared of human-made devices and will 𒆙gladly go after any ships that invade their territory, bashing holes in the bow with their powerful jaws.

They despise strangers in their land. Even in its pr꧅e-evolution form Carvanha they strike fear into the hearts of sailors, who make it a point to avoid having their boaꦺt sunk by these beasts.

1 💯 They Almost Died Out ☂

Sharpedo have something in common with Corsola 🐼and Lapras. They have been overhunted to the point of extinction for their fins by humans, which probably explains some of their aggression toward them.

However, one episode of the anime proved Sharpedo do have the ability to learn to trust people if they show them kindness. In the plot, the group gains their trust after Brock uses medicine to heal the pod's injured ဣleader.
