Shiny Pokémon rarely appear 🔴in the anime, but when they do, it's very exciting. Many of them are relegated to𒆙 the film series, but there have been a few that have appeared in the show, too. Shiny Pokémon typically only appear once per species, although there have been a few exceptions.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The series has seen alternately-colored Pokémon that weren't official shiny forms, and this list won't be looking at those. Instead, let's take a look at actual shiny variants that have shown up in the series, from legendaries to one-off Magika🔯rps. Here are the most interesting appearances of shiny Pokémon in the anime, ranked.

10 Hawlucha

Hawlucha is a Fighting/Flying-type that was introduced in Generation VI. Typically, its coloring is that of a luchador, with elements of red, green, and white dominating its palette. When shiny, it has a super cool combination of deep red, black, and purple, almost resembling some♓thing Halloween-themed.

Its shiny form appeared in the anime under the ownership of a trainer named Carl in the episode When Light and Dark Collide. Carl has Pokémon battle to a scripted plot in order to make a television show. The shiny Hawlucha is one of the mai𓃲n stars of the series.

9 Magikarp

Both Magikarp and its evolution, Gyarados, . W💯hile Gyarados is deep-red, Magikarp takes on a great golden form.

This fantastic shiny appeared in the anime on two separate occasions. It first appeared in Judgment Day in the Advanced Generation series, where a boy named Jimmy is seen to have one in a flashback. As the first shiny Pokémon to be seen in the anime twice, shiny Magikarp also made an appearance in the XY series, w🔯here it attr🎃acts the attention of local anglers that hope to find the fabled golden 'karp.

8 Onix

In Expedition to Onix Island! Ash and the gang head to a deserted island that is populated with a ton of Onix🍬. While there, they seek out a special Onix that is rumored to live on the island. It is, of course, a shiny one. They eventually encounter it before leaving the island for good.

Unfortunately, this episode did not reintroduce 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an old fan-favorite, the Crystal Onix. This special Pokémon had a body made ♏of glass and appeared in the Orange Islands arc of the show. This is not a shiny Onix, but still a cool variant of one.

7 Rayquaza

Rayqauza's amazing jet-black shiny is widely considered one of the best shiny forms in the franchise. Perhaps as an act of fan service, the makers of t🐬he Pokémon anim🌸e gave it a special appearance in the series.

In the film Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, a shiny Rayquaza showed up with a Latios and Latias to♐🍸 protect Hoopa from the shadow Hoopa Unbound. This Rayquaza wasn't just shiny, it was also capable of Mega Evolving, so fans were treated to both its shiny regular form and its shiny Mega Evolution.

6 Tapu Koko

Another legendary that appeared in its shiny form in the anime is Tapu Koko. This island guardian from the Alola region made its debut in Battling the Beast Within! when it teleported Ash to the Ultra Ruin, where they find ✱a battle ragin▨g against the Ultra Beast that inhabits the Ruin, Guzzlord.

This Tapu Koko is shiny because it appeared from another dimension. The Tapu Koko that inhabits Alola in the show's timeline is not shiny, unfortunately, especially since💮 its shiny form is so great.

5 Metagross

Like Rayquaza and Magikarp, Metagross is a fan-favorite shiny. With a beautiful silver-white sheen replacing its typical cobalt blue, Metagross' shiny is beautiful. Steven Stone, the once-Champion of the Hoenn region, has a shiny Metagross in the XY series♐ of the anime. H𒁃e uses it to battle as his main Pokémon. It's also capable of Mega Evolution, shown Mega Evolving on occasion.

Interestingly, a shiny Metagross also appeared as a wild Pokémon to attack Team Rocket in the episode Noodles! Roamin' Off!

4 𒊎 The Legendaryꦺ Beasts

In the film Zoroark: Master of Illusions, the three legendary beasts of the Johto region, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, all appeared in their shiny fo꧟rms alongside one another. Part of what makes this so interesting is that they all appear together — the first time the three are seen with one another in the same film. It was also the first time a shiny legendary appeared in the anime.

Those who preဣordered tickets to the film in Japan would receive one of the three in a game as an event-distribution.

3 Gardevoir

Gardevoir has appeared in the anime many times, both in its regular form and its Mega Evolved form. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diantha, Champion of the Kalos region, has a Gardevoir that has been featured prominent🐲ly. However, the more interesting Gardevoir that has been in the anime for shiny hunters is Kimia's.

This trainer has a shiny Gardevoir that sports its beautiful blue and white design. This Gardevoir is capable of Mega Evolving as well, shown as a shiny Mega Gardevoir in the film Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.

2 Psyduck

Swapping its golden yellow for a strange but somewhat cool shade of light blue, Psyduck is a shiny that really has a drastic change between its variants. In the episode, The Raid Battle at the Ruins ("SS014" in English), a trainer named Karabari appears and participates in a raid battle against Golurk. He uses a shiny Psydဣuck, in all of its blue glory.

This trainer says that he wants to fill a Pokédex with only shiny Pokémon, which is a huge accomplishment that some real-life players h🌊ave undertaken. For that reason, it places high on this list. It's an in-show representation for all the shiny hunters of the world.

1 Noctowl

When many fans think of shiny Pokémon appearing in the anime, they probably think of Noctowl first and foremost. This is because a shiny Noctowl plays a very prominent role in the series. In Fowl Play! Ash captures a𒆙 shiny Nocꦓtowl that was being hunted by a trapper.

Ash eventually sent this shiny Flying/Normal-type to Professor Oak's lab. Noctowl has the supreme honor of being the first shiny Pokémon ever shown in the anime. There are, of course, some alternate colorings for some Pokém༺on that have been seen, but this is the first official shiny.
