One of the many new additions that came with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword & Shield's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Isle of Armor DLC was the introduction of Galarian Slowbro, the long-awaited evolution to Galarian Slowpoke that was teased when the Expansion Pass was first announced. Taking on the Poison-typing while removing Slowbro's traditional Water-type gives this classic Pokémon a unique twist tha🧔t has made it a favorite among Galarian forms.

Although 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kantonian Slowbro has its own strong fanbase behind it, with it even getting a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mega Evolution in Generation VI, the new edition to thi🐼s dopey Pokémon could very well det♕hrone the original in terms of usage and popularity.

10 Type: Kanton﷽🔯ian

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Water-type is one of the most common in all of Pokémon and is an easy choice for when players need a well-balanced member on their team. Both defensively and offensively, the Water-type is better suited for battle than the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Poison-type, though that's notꦏ to say that the Poison-type isn't without its merits.

Poison-type being super effective against Fairy and Grass-type Pokémon is a good thing, aܫs they are both fairly common types. However, Water-types are far more useful due to being good against Ground, Rock, and Fire-types, as𓆉 they are common coverage moves for Pokémon to use aside from their own type.

9 Movepool:ꦯ Galarian

The new form of Slowbro barely makes the 𒅌cut for having a superior movepool as, for the most part, both forms can learn the exact same moves, but with one big difference. Galarian Slowbro♚ can learn all of the same Water-type moves as the Kantonian version, but can also learn a handful of Poison-type moves that the original cannot, giving it a slight edge in battle in terms of type coverage.

Although Kantonian Slowbro doesn't really need the extra coverage, it's still a loss in ter🗹ms of creative options when choosing its moveset.

8 Abilities🐼: Tie

Both versions of Slowbro have access to Own Tempo, an ability that nullifies the Intimidate ability a▨nd prevents confusion, as well as the amazing Regenerator ability, which restores a percentage of health when it is switched out in battle. While both serving different purposes, their unique abilities are both great for their respective playstyles.

Galariꦕan Slowbro gets the Quick Draw, which gives it a chance to attack first in a battle no matter how fast the opponent is, acting like a built-in Quick Claw. Kantonian Slowbro, on the other hand, gets Oblivious, which acts like a superpowered version of Own Tempo, blocking not only Intimidate but also Taunt and Attract. Neither of these abilities is superior to the other, meaning neither version gets the w🐻in in this category.

7 🍬 ❀ Stats: Tie

One hugeജ missed opportunity with the alternate forms is that, for the most part, their overall stats are ide🦄ntical to the original version. Slowbro is an exception here, as while the overall numbers are similar, they have been rearranged to focus on different aspects of battle.

Kantonian Slowbro is built to take a hit, with 110 in defense and 80 in special defense alongside a respectable 100 special attack. Galarian Slowbro opts for a more aggressive stat disꦍtribution, with lower defensive stats but 100 in both physical and special attack. As both Pokémon are designed to do different things i🐻n battle, it's impossible to say that one is better than the other in terms of stats, as they aren't going to fulfill the same role.

6 🙈 Design: Tie 🌸

Galarian Slowbro's design is not so far⭕ removed from the original, in contrast to many of the other Galarian forms. Newcomers to the franchise may find themselves confusing one form for the ot⛄her. The major difference is the Shellder that originally clamped onto Slowbro's tail for sustenance has moved onto its arm instead, causing pain and discomfort for the poor creature.

While it does present a huge missed opportunity for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Game Freak to create a Slowbro that evolves via a different Water-type latching on to a Slowpoke, it also means that neither really has a better 🌟design compared to the other.

5 Shi💞ny Form: Galarian

Unlike their standard colorations, the shiny forms of both Slowbro are drastically different. Kantonian Slowbro changes from a candy pink color sporting a grey Shellder ta𝓡il to a striking, purple body. Meanwhile, Shellder changes color to💛 look more like a poop emoji. While it does a good job of standing out from the standard form, it isn't a good looking shiny by any means.

Galarian Slowbro takes a more subtle change in color, keeping the pꦬurple highlights on its head and arms while its body changes to a fleshy pink. Although the Shellder arm keeps the brown look from the original, it's far less poop looking that Kantonian Slowbro's tail.

4 ♒ Availability: Galarian 🎶

Galarian Slowbro just barely edges out Kantonian Slowbro in terms of ava🧸ilability, as both forms are found exclusively in The Isle of Armor. Galarian Slowpoke can be found on the beach as soon as players step off of the Corviknight taxi, and the trainer who makes Galarica Cuffs to evolve it is on the water just off this beach, making it easy to obtain early on.

Kantonian Slowpoke is gifted to the player by the man who lost his Alolan Diglett. Once they have found 10 of them, a feat that ൩is easily doable in the area immediately surrounding the Master Dojo, players will be given a Kantonian Slowpoke fo♛r their trouble.

3 ܫ Dy🔯namax Potential: Tie

As both versions of Slowbro have near-identical movepools, the only thing that differentiates their Dynamax po🌊tential is ಞthe available Max moves they can use while giant-sized.

Unfortunately, as both versions can learn the Poison-type move Belch by breeding, they have identical available Max moveꦕs, meaning neither is better at being big than the other.

2 Playthrough Viability: Tie ꦆ 🐻

As both versions of Slowbro can be obtained just as easily as the other, their playthrough viability comes down to their typing which, unfortunately, giv🎀es them both an edge again♎st a similar amount of trainers, though for different reasons.

Kantonian Slowbro's Water-typing gives it a distinct weakness against Milo, Nessa, and Melony, though it is strong against Kabu, Geordie, and Raihan. Galarian Slowbro is weaker against Raihan, but also good against M💛ilo and Opal. Both are weak against Allister and Piers while being solid against Bea.

1 ♊ 💟 Winner: Galarian

Even though Kantonian Slowbro has arguably the superior type combination, Galarian Slowbro scrapes through with a win♏ asꦚ the better version. That said, both Slowbros serve a different purpose in battle, with their own strengths and weaknesses that make it much harder to compare the two.

In terms of overall coverage, playstyles🎐, and shiny forms, the Galarian Slowbro wins out in this competition. At least until Mega Slowbr👍o comes back.
