168澳洲幸运5开奖网:New Pokemon Snap is captivating fans old and new, offering many their first taste of a game not centered around Pokemon battles, needing to snap em' all instead of catch em'. Although to some Pokemon Snap may seem like a new concept, to hardcore Pokemon fans playin꧃g their N64 back in the late '90s, this was the reboot we've all been waiting for.
As the sequel to the much loved N64 classic, New Pokemon Snap had a lot to live up to for past fans, and it's safe to say that it more than delivered. Where the original contained 63, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:New Pokemon Snap has over 200 Pokemon to discover, and with so many, it wasn't surprising to❀ find game makers had slipped in more than a few nostalgic thr𓄧owbacks for those keeping an eye out.
10 Doduo To♚ Dodrio
In Pokemon Snap's tutorial Beach level, one of the first Pokemon you encounter after the Pidgey's flying past you is a skipping Doduo, who runs in front of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:photographer Todd Snap's ZERO-ONE and over to Pikachu.
It seems New Pokemon Snap wanted old fans to feel they were back home from the get-go, and so made Dodrio one of the first Pokemon you encounter in their tutorial Florio Nature ꦡPark too. Is it possible this is the evolution of that Doduo we saw all the way back in 1999, or just it just a sweet cameo for old fans?
9 ꧂ Surfing Pikachu
In the original N64 game, there were an abundance of special Pikachu photos for you to discover, not limited to: Dancing on stumps, speedy, suspended on balloons, hopping on an Electrode, and even riding on the back of♎ Articuno!
Of course, the classic first one fans would discover was Surfing Pikachu, mimicki🐻ng the opening sequence in 1998's Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy Color. 🍷New Pokemon Snap decided to pay homage to this all these years later, with Pikachu riding an albeit slightly more dangerous Stunkfish-style board on Blushing Beach (Day).
8 ꧒ Abundant Magikarp
Both games share a similarity in having one Pokemon show up in nearly every level; Magikarp. In the original, part of the fun was finding the hidden Magikarp in every level, with a well-aimed Pokemon Food appl💜e or a Pesterball into the water usually causing it to jump out.
In New Pokemon Snap there are similarly a lot of them, with one Magikarp being arguably 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best request photos ꦑin the game. However, something that disappointed players this time around was✅ the lack of Gyarados, a Pokemon in the original snap you'd have to help a lucky Magikarp to evolve into by helping it into a waterfall.
7 Lapras Herds ﷽ ⛦
Lapras was arguably one of the most exciting Pokemon discoveries in the old game, being found on the fir🔯st Beach level. To get a good photo, Todd Snap would need to take photos of it in the 🐷far distance throughout the course, causing it to pop up close to you at the level's end with a few of its friends.
In New Pokemon Snap, there seems to be a new abundance of Lapras at Maricopa Reef (Night), all ready to greet you at🙈 the end of the stage and sing for you with help from your Music Player. This large number may reflect their later Pokedex entries, as in Pokemon Moon, it states: "These Pokémon were once near extinction due to poaching. Following protective regulations, there is now an overabundance of them."
6 R🍒avenous Charmanders
One of many players' favorite moments from the N64 game was the army of Charmander's you could summon on the Volcano level. If you threw a small group of Charmanders soꦐme Pokemon Food, they would emphatically yell to the cliffs, summoning even more Charmanders to jump down to join the feast (which would be cute until the Pokemon Food ran out and they'd start angrily yelling 'CHAR' at you.)
In New Pokemon Snap's Fireflow Volcano, going down the route with Charizard and Tyrantrum fighting will see you spotting a Charmander or two in the background near the endpoint. Throwing these Charmander Fluffruit will summon even more of them, giving old fans a cute throwback (minus 🍬the angry yelling).
5 𒐪 Crobat's Instead Of Zubats
In Pokemon Snap's Cave, you may remember꧋ descending into the dark, mossy depths as a Zubat or two flew up past the ZERO-ONE. These Zubat were among some of the hardeꦉst Pokemon to snap a photo of, but really set the scene for where you were, with one even carrying a Pikachu!
In New Pokemon Snap's Outaway Cave, the Zubat's have been replaced by final evolution Crobats along with a Noibat or two. It was nice to see a throwback to the original game as this time the NEO-ONE took its turn plunging into the cave's depths and gave fans a nice look back to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of their favorite levels.
4 Dancing Jynx 𒈔 🏅
In the icy deꦓpths of the N64's Cave level, you'd encounter two Jynx, stood around an Articuno egg. When you played music on the Pokeflute, they'd then start to dance memorably causing Articuno to hatch and dance around the cave with them.
In New Pokemon Snap's Shiver Snowfiಌeld's you'll encounter groups of Jynx a few times, usually gathered around a Crystabloom. Hitting these Crystabloom's with an Illumina Orb caus💧es some cool events to trigger, including a sleeping Auruous bursting through an ice wall. However, for those looking for a throwback use your Music Player to get them dancing with each other once again, just like the old days.
3 Divin🔥g Sandsla🔥sh
Sandslash may have changed🎐 form in the 2ꦫ2 years since we last saw it, but its preference for jumping and diving into the ground has stayed the same.
In the original Valley level we saw it spiraling in and out of the ground accompanied by Sandshrew, usually when a Graveller stuck to the cliff's face thudde♏d to the ground. In New Pokemon Snap, we see the Alolan version on Shiver Snowfields doing the same maneuvers, with this Icy variant holding the key to more in-game secrets than you may originally re♈alize.
2 🔴 Wall-Grabbing, All-Dancing Graveller
We've already mentioned the Graveller ⛎in the N64's Valley level, who would usually hold the wall along with Geodude. In New Pokemon Snap's Fireflow Volcano level you'll find an all too familiar sight with some wall-clinging travelers, 🌃who once again can be pelted down to the floor with a well-aimed Fluffruit or Illumina Orb.
However, the Switch s♕equel didn't stop there with the similarities. In Fireflow Volcano there's one particular Graveller you come across that will react to your Music Player, doing a cute little dance with his arms. This is a hark-back to the dancing trio of Graveller you would find near the Gyarados waterfall in the Valley, who would perform different dance routines for you dependin🥀g on your Pokeflute's song.
1 The Legendary Mew 🍌🍷
Todd Snap's mission in Pokemon Snap was taking a photo of Mew, the mythical Pokemon he briefly encountered in the game's intro. Throughout your journey, you and Professor Oak would find the key to unlocking a face-to-face meeting with Mew in the Pokemon Signs found throughout the courses, giving Todd access to the final Rainbow Cloud level. Old fans were therefore🦩 delighted to not only see Todd Snap returning in the Switch sequel but also his elusive white whale; Mew.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mew in New Pokemon Snap is hard to꧅ f෴ind, located in Founja Jungle, perhaps reflecting its early Pokedex entries in Stadium and Fire Red for being a "mythical Pokemon of Sౠouth America". Old fans will🤡 see some similar magical orb mechanics that will take you a few well-aimed Illumina Orbs and Fluffruit to break open, with a chase through the level finally getting you that perfect close-up.
