It's a simple concept, but it would make a cute little series that everyone can enjoy.

With Pokemon Snap's revival, fans have gained a new appreciation for the simple task of taking pictures of Pokemon. Fans are already greeted with stunning designs of Pokemon while watching the animated series, so having a show specifically revolving around the study of Pokemon in their natural habitat isn't much of a stretch.
The Pokemon series has always focused on the battles, but never the lives of non-gym challengers. Yes, there's been a few instances where fans are given a glimpse at the average life of the people of the Pokemon world, but they're only glimpses. Having a short little series following non-battler would be a breath of fresh air to a predominately battle-focused genre, much like this game originally was. It could even be given a Natural Geographic type feel to switch things up.

Fans were given a glimpse of how humans and Pokemon interacted historically at the beginning of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, but it was never expanded on. That was until Pokemon Conquest launched for the Nintendo DS back in 2012. Fans were given an interesting tak🌊e on what ♛life could have been like in the Pokemon world during a feudal-like era.
Having a series that follows a young, up-and-coming warlord set on bringing peace to the war-torn land would be an interesting divergence from the typical gym battling format. What's more, since the game introduced a new type of capturing mechanic in the form of "linking," the dynamic between humans and Pokemon is much different than the current series. It would be interesting to see how the interactions between human Pokemon would be in such an environment.

When the Pokemon series first started, being a Pokemon Trainer was practically a necessity. Anyone who had a Pokemon, or did anything revolving around Pokemon, were Trainers and they constantly battled one another to get stronger. That's how it was until Pokemon Rangers were introduced.
Acting almost like park rangers, Pokemon Rangers took the Pokemon world by storm by introducing a brand new capturing system that allowed them to gain temporary allegiance over wild Pokemon using a top-like device. Toward the end of a season, there's typically a big confrontation between Ash and that region's team that lasts a handful of episodes, but there hasn't been a full series that solely revolves around fighting an evil team as Pokemon Colosseum does.
