Impidimp becomes stronger when it feeds off of negative energy, so the stress that players feel when they lose equipment just gives Impidimp strength. The knowledge of how Impdimp works, yet still using these attacks, is very dark behavior.

Many Pokémon are based off of real creatures and in the case of Sizzlipede and its evolved form, Sentiskorch, that means utilizing the brutal survival tactics of centipedes.
