Remember Salandit? Well, you’re about to! We don’t know how this funky little Fire/Poison Pokémon found its way from the volcanoes of Alola to the Britain inspired Galar Region, but Salandit is available to catch and evolve in both versions of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword and Shield.
Where To Find Salandit
Salandit can be acquired through Max Raid Battles in both games, but encountering it in the wild is significantly easier in Shield. Beside Max Raid Battles, Salandit can only be found in the Stony Wilderness in Sword. Your best bet for catching a S🌌alandit in that version is to go during intense sun, where your chances of finding Salandit running around as an overworld encounter jumps up to 15%.
In Shield, you can encounter Salandit in the Motostoke Outskirts and Riverbank in addition to the Stony Wilderness. You have a 25% chance of encountering Salandit in the Motostoke Riverbank during intense sun, so Sword players who desperately want a Salandit but don't care to brave the Max Raid Battles should hit up a Shield player and arrange a trade.
How To Evolve Salandit Into Salazzle
If you had Salandit in Pokémon Sun and Moon, you may recall that Salandit evolves into Salazzle at level 33. Its evolution is gender locked, however, as Salandit only evolves if it's female. Male Salandit cannot evolve, no matter how many levels you pump into it. Unfortunately, female Salandit are fairly rare. Putting a🐽side Salandit’s 15 or 25% encounter rate, about 88% of Salandit are male, making the quest for a Salazzle something of a difficult undertaking.
What Salandit Does In Battle
Salandit is a versatile damaging Pokémon with access to Sludge Bomb, a poisoning move with a 100% hit rate. 🧸It can also learn Nasty Plot, which raises Special Attack and makes Sludge Bomb as well as Fire Blast much more effective. With this move set, Salandit becomes a special attack powerhouse who’s guaranteed to make the opposing team hurt before leaving the field.
Salazzle can keep most of Salandit's move set, but upgrading Fire Blast to the harder-hitting Flamethrower will give Salazzle more damaging power. While Salandit may be hard to find and evolve in Sword and Shield, it's definitely worth the investment!
