Snom. How to begin to describe Snom? Snom is the most precious snowy little bean to ever exist. Snom is the most c🐻harming little creature you could ever see, from its wonderful little face nubs to its delightfully endearing blue spikes. Snom doesn’t cry like other Pokémon, it lets out perfect raindrops of sound like a twinkling windchime. Snom doesn’t ask you to choose between cuteness or viability— it carries all the potential of Frosmoth, a veritable powerhouse of a Pokémon that can only be described𒈔 as exquisitely beautiful.

Snom is love. Snom is life. This is the definitive ꦜguide on how to let Snom into your life and heart (and evolve it into Frosmoth, if you wish).

Where To Find Snom

This is the single greatest flaw of Pokémon Sword & Shield, its single greatest tragedy: you do not get to encounter until Route 8, well into the second half of the game. Once you 🐬have fought your way to just outside Circhester in your single-minded pursuit of the snowy bean, it is a graciously common sight, both in the overworld and in random encounters. It can also be found on Route 10 at a lower encounter rate, as well as in the area across the Lake of Outrage in snowy weather once you’ve unlocked the bike upgrade needed to cross water.

Additionally, it som🐷etimes spawns as a Max Raid Encounter in the dens near Hammerlocke, but the encounter rate is quite low. If you’d like to catch the most battle-ready snow bean, however, it’s worth farming the raid dens in the Giant’s Cap, Hammerlocke Hills, and Stony Wilderness regions.

Once you ꦐhave your Snom, feel free to shed a few tears of joy and jubilation. You’ve earned it.
