Like every generation, has its strong competitive Pokémon and its weak ones. They have to fill the natural order and all, and pla༺yers also have the pleasurable experience of taking a weak Pokémon and turning it🍌 into a goliath through hard work in the game.
So the presence of weak Pokémon is as important as the game itself. However, these weaker specimens have little to no use in a tournament scenario, so it's important to know what is the worst of the region when it comes to the new Pokémon. So here is a ranked top 10 of the weakest in168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Sword and Shield.
Updated July 24th, 2020 by Tanner Kinney: For the first time in the Pokemon series, GameFreak has blessed their fans with DLC expansion packs. The Isle of Armor, released on June 17, 2020, gave 108 Pokémon their green card to visit Galar. While this is still far away from the full Pokédex, it's definitely a welcome addition. However, more returning Pokémon means more minnows in the mix. Which begs the question: which are the weakest of the Isle of Armor?
15 Lillipup
The fan-favorite yorkshire terrier finally arrived in Galar with the new DLC. While this (alongside Rockruff's return) is a big win for dog fans, it doesn't save Lillipup from itself. It already was one of Unova's weakest Pokemon, and in Galar it isn't much better. It doesn't have a terrible base stat total, but its abilities and moveset are lackluster. It does have a solid physical movepool to🍸 utilize its 60 attack, but its weak defense leaves it open to swift retaliation. Stoutland may be a beast, but Lillipup is decidedly not.
14 Whismur
The loudmouth Whismur takes a spot on this list for a very good reason. Its offensive stats and HP aren't so bad, and its movepool is actually pretty large. However, with little speed and low defenses, it'll never get a chance to put that offense to good use. It doesn't share the Scrappy ability of its evolutions, so it doesn't even have their advantage over ghost-types. No matter how much of a mood this crying rabbit represents,🔯 its poor battle capabilities will leave its trainers screaming in anguish.
13 Happiny
Happiny, the pre-evolution of Chansey, is super cute and pink. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much for its power. Happiny boasts a subpar 220 base stat total. If someone were to squint their eyes, they'd notice that Hapꦑpiny does in fact have a big number on its statline: a fat 100 in HP.
However, that HP doesn'ಌt mean much with paper-thin defense, no viable offensive stat, and speed that could charitably be called "not the worst." It, at the very 🉐least, does pack a large supportive movepool, but without decent stats, it's just an unfortunate little egg.
12 Igglybuff
Don't let its name fool you, Igglybuff is not very tough. With a 210 base stat total, there isn't much impressive about this baby balloon. Its defenses and speed especially make a challenging Pokémon to work. On top of that, its dual fairy/normal typing just gives it a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:poison-type weakness without shoring up the bad match-ups. Fortunately, it does pack the same incredible 𒁃movepool of its evolutions, but that's a small comfort for the Igglybuff enthusiasts. It isn't the worst of the baby Pokémon, but it's far from the best.
11 Azurill
Of the newly added Pokemon, none are as bad as Azurill. Take the bad typing and stats of Igglybuff and chop off 40 HP just good measure, and that makes an Azuril. That 190 base stat total is just plain sad. Even with Huge Power doubling its attack, that only bumps it up 40 base attack. It's a pathetically weak Pokemon, hardly worthy of the mystique of its evolution, Pikablu. It's easily the weakest Pokemon from the entirely of the Isle of Armor.
10 Bounsweet
The strongest of this list is Bounsweet at 210 total base stats added toget🌸her. Of the weak Pokémon, it has the highest bꦚase stats but not enough to be competitively viable.
Its top moves that it can learn without TM's are Magical leaf, Razor leaf, and teeter dance. Just about every other move is useless. Flail is a good example of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:caliber of moves Bounsweet can learn.
Both of these factors combined with relaꦫtively low stats make this one of the most useless and weakest Pokémon available.
9 Pichu
Pichu has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:always been weak, being a special attacker that can't effectively special attack. Some of its stats are a little better than Bounsweets but൩ in the wrong areas for the Pichu to work effectively, like speed and attack. Its speed also isn't all that great atꦰ 60 and it has very few offensive moves it can naturally learn with help from a TM.
While Bounsweet was more rounded, Pichu has severe dips in sღtats such as defense, making it like glass. It has a bunch of useable TM's which is a saving grace to Pichu, but still, it makes for a weaker Pikachu.
8 Ralts
While most Pokémon's base stats are above 200 added together, Ralts are 198, slightly less than the total of Pichu. Ralts doesn't have severe dips in stats and can learn some good moves at leve🃏l 30, like psychic, but most of its stats are mediocre with its highest topping out at 45 which is its 🍌special attack.
This isn't great and combined with its hp being mediocre, it's likely to get knocked out very easily. Co꧋mpared to Pichu with some mid stats and severe low stats, Ralts is overall more mediocre in all stats.
7 Caterpie
Caterpie's total stats are 195, making it one of the weakest and most urgent to evolve for this reason. The strongest move it can learn is bug bite, that's about it,🧸 as even with TM's it can only learn 4 moves.
It's one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:weakest Pokémon in the Galar region you can find. Caterpie's HP is its top stat at 45, making it sturdier than most on the list, howe𝓀ver, its 20 defense and special defense would lead to it getting plowed through by any move.
6 Snom
And the count goes lower as Snom's total base stats are just 185🙈, 14 lower than Pichu's total. This dip down means Snoms stats are much lower overall, although still match the lower ꦚlevel mediocre in tier on this list.
The fact that its base speed is 20 🤪makes it horrible for any battle, as even Ralts will outspeed it. Add onto this that naturally it can only learn two moves and you'd have a bad time battling with it. Snom's saving grace is that its natural moves use a special attack, its highest stat.
