For the most part, Pokémon fans rejoiced at the announcement of The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, the upcoming DLC for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword And Shield and the first DLC to ever be released for a Pokémon game. That means DLC is uncharted territory for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Game Freak, givin𓂃g the company one big question 🐲to answer: how will leveling be handled?
Traditionally, Game Freak would release two separate Pokémon games, followed by a third installment. This trend dates all the back to when Pokémon Yellow was released following Red and Blue, and continued all the way up until Pokémon Platinum. Afterwards, Game Freak opted for a "sequel" game, such and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon following Sun and Moon.
This never caused an issue with leveling, because story content was never added to an already-finished game. Players could finish the game, and continue leveling their Pokémon with no wܫorries. Now, it'll be interesting to see how Game Freak will handle the situation.
The most likely situation would have The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra take off immediately where Sword and Shield ended, setting NPC trainers in the range of level 70 t0 80. However, that means if you continue playing with one team until that team reaches 100, you'll easily blow through the DLC and might have trouble 𒈔enjoying it.
Another option could have you starting over with a new team. Given the addition of brand new Pokémon like Kubfu, as well as 200 original Pokémon returning, there's certainly enough monsters to choose from if you'd like to start from scratch. That being saiღd, the DLC will unlikely have enough con🌼tent to level a team from 5 to 70 all over again.
A final option could be Game Freak setting a specific level for the DLC, similar to 📖how the Battle Tower is handled. This means that your Pokémon will𝓀 all be set to a base level, say 75 for example, and the focus will then be on competitive decisions rather than gaining experience.
Either way, Game Freak has a choice in front of them that they've never had to face before, and it'll be interesting to see which route they decide to take. Either way, Pokémon fans can look forward to playing The Isle of Armor in June 2020, and The Crown Tundra in November.
