The Isle of Armor expansion area for  add a bunch of new critters. It does this via another Wild Area with a variety of biomes. If you've played Sword & Shield for a good deal of time, you know the drill - look for Pokémon near their natural habitat. However, Isle of Armor tucks Larvesta away in ✃a place that won't even show up on the Pokédex tracker. To save you some trouble, we'll show you whe⛦re it's hiding.

Where To Find Larvesta In Sword & Shield

First things first - you need to buy the expansion pass to get access to Isle of Armor and Larvesta. Once you're on the island go to the Tower of Waters. Youtuber  shows that you can fly direc꧋tly in front of the tower. From there, you'll want to ride your bike into the water and head around the island's coast as shown below. You'll pass through the Stepping-Stone Sea, go in between some rock formations in the sea, and find the Loop Lagoon.

So basically, you're biking south from the tower, around the landmass that juts out into the sea, and into the closed-off little island in the lꦚagoon. That little island is where Larvesta waits. Pass under this arch to find an isolated clearing.

This Larvesta appears to be the only one in the game. Checkꩲing the Pokédex will show "Habitat Unknown." This means it probably doesn't spawn anywhere else, which makes sense given its near-Legendary status.

What Volcarona Does In Battle

Volcarona has some great stats for Special Attack and Special Defense, as well as impressive Speed. Its Flame Body ability can burn opponents, but it's also useful outside o🧜f battle as it speeds up the rate at which eggs hatch. Just imagine your big, furry fire bug s🍨itting on your eggs.

Volcarona's bread-and-butt✅er is , which further ౠraises its best stats. Do a Quiver Dance or two and then hit foes with a Flamethrower or Bug Buzz to see Volcarona at its best.
