In Sword & Shield, the developers decided to change the layouts of towns from a more open set-up and instead use a design that’s much more maze-like. The good news is that many of the “dead ends” of these mazes contain useful items hidden within them. 🌟A quick heads-up before getting to the list, many of these hidden areas require the Rotom Bike, upgraded for travel over water.

Updated October 29, 2020 by Tanner Kinney: With the two expansions for Sword and Shield, GameFreak has expanded the Galar region into something much more vast and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mysterious. The two new areas, The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, are fully-developed Wild Areas that are loaded with secret items, passageways, and clues towards legendary Pokémon. While some players will work to comb through as much of the region as possible, others might not be aware of what secrets some of these locations are hiding. Alternatively, they might've been overlooked, and should be given a second glance.

15 🍒 𒀰 The Master Dojo Battle Court

Pokemon The Isle of Armor Dojo Master Mustard Battle Court

This area is locked off to the player until their battles with Klara/Avery and Dojo Master Mustard at the end of The Isle of Armor. This Battle Court is on a power spot, which allows trainers to Dynamax their Pokémon 𒐪for intense battles. Aside from the battles, there aren't any actual items and secrets to find.

However, what some players might not have realized is that a whole new set of battles were made available to the player. The Restricted Battles force a player into using a monotype team and♛ challenging a gauntlet for as long as possible. The rewards aren't amazing, but it's a fun cha🌺nge of pace from the Battle Tower.

14 🔯 The Islands Surrounding The Isle of Armor

Pokemon The Isle of Armor Honeycomb Island and Mini Islands

One of the first sights a trainer might see off the coast of the Isle of Armor is a giant Wailord, chilling i🌊𝄹n the ocean. It gets shrunk as a follower Pokémon, but was certainly a surprise to see a size-accurate Wailord like in previous titles.

There are a number more interesting secrets to be found off the coast, though. There are a number of small islands dotting the coast, ranging in size from tiny to large eꦜnough to be home to wild Pokémon. Some of these small islands have Pokémon Dens, and many of them w𓂃ill have hidden items to pick up. It's worth it to be thorough and check them all out.

13 🌄 The Carrot Fields

The Crown Tundra Carrot Fields Snowy and Graveyard

Moving onto The Crown Tundra, a fair number of secrets have to be uncovered to find all of the legendary Pokémon hiding away. One of those secrets involves the Carrot Seeds obtained from an NPC in Freezingtꦇon. They mention that the 🥀seeds can be planted in various locations and fields, but on first inspection that doesn't seem to be the case.

The player needs to make progress with the first Legendary Clue involving Calyrex before their purpose is revealed. Depending on ♔what carrots are planted, a different steed Pokémon will appear to battle the player. If planted in the Graveyard, Spectrier will appear. If planted in a snowy field, Glastrier will appear.

Snowslide Slope is a location within the snowy part of The Crown Tundra. Home to a number of Pokémon that were 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:once excluded, including the ever-popular Metagross, it's fairly unassuming in its appearance. It mostly just seems lik𒀰e another💞 marked spot among all the others.

However, the cliffs of Snowslide Slope end up being one of the stops for Galarian Articuno. If encountered here, it will split into three birds and the player will have to figure out which one is th♏e real bird. If the player fails, it will fly away. There are other spots that Galarian Articuno may visit, so make sure to be thorough in exploration of the tundra.

11 The Island On Ballimere Lake 📖

The Crown Tundra Keldeo Island and Keldeo Battle

The southern part of The Crown Tundra is home to Ballimere Lake. This wide area surrounding a great tree is home to a few secrets. The first is the location of Spiritomb. A grave can be found in Ballimere Lake. If the player has talked to 32 players in the overworld, then Spiritomb will appear. This is clearly a reference to its appearance in Diamond and Pearl, which is cute.

However, the island on Ballimere Lake is also home to a secret. After catchinಌg the three Swords of Justice Pokémon, the player can go to the island and cook some curry. After doing that, Keldeo will appear, and the player can complete their collection of that set of Unovan m🅰ythical Pokémon.

10 Slumbering Weald Altar 🅠

Well, a player has finished the game…now what? After completing Sword or Shield, one of the first places a player should go is one o💖f the first places they ever visited – The Slumbering Weald Forest.

Specifically, players should go to the altar within the Slumbering Weald. This will start a quest to assist Hop (after fighting him) in catching whichever of the Zamazenta/Zacian pair the player did not catch. After Hop catches this legendary Pokémon, he challenges the player one last time. After defeating Hop, the play🥀er receives Hop’s rare League Card and Profes🦄sor Sonia’s Book.

9 The Hidden Nur꧟sery 🌼

Every player is familiar with the Pokémon nursery on Route 5, but there is anotꦅher nursery many players probably missed on their playthrough. To get to this nursery, trainers must first travel to East Lake Axewell and then go east until they reach the bridge. At that point, go north across the bridge.

From here, 🐓the player needs to continue north until they reach t🦹he second set of pillars (the long row of pillars), and at this point turn east. The nursery will become more visible as the player heads east. This gives the player two nurseries to assist in raising their Pokémon, and this hidden one is near a large Wild Zone.

8 L♍ake Of Outrage Island

The Lake of Outrage has an island that is accessible once the player upgrades their bike to allow travel over water. The island is easily distinguished by the ciꦓrcle of stones that can be found there. There are a lot of powerful Pokémon on this island to catch, most notably in the Pokémon den located on the island.

Aside from the Pokémon den, there are several areas with tall grass. There are also👍 some great items waiting for the player here as well. The three items every visitor to this island should pick-up are the Focus Sash, Assault Vest, and TM65 (Shadow Claw).

7 💎 Rooftop In Stow-On-Side 🅠

There are a lot of sights to see in Stow-on-Side, and what better way to see them than from the elevated view of ꩵa rooftop – there’s some nice loot up there too. To get to these rooftops, the player must go to the southwest portion of the town.

Once in this area, the player needs to start looking for the alleyway that l꧟eads to an area with Digletts and a bunch of Pokéballs arranged around a hopscotch play area. Climb the ladder in this area to get to the rooftops. Upon the rooftops, the player can get TM74 (Venoshock) and a Metal Coat. The player can also trade a Maractus for a Hatenna with a man hanging out on the rooftops.

6 🐷 Leon’s House

Leon’s House isn’t exactly hidden, but there is a surprise waiting for trainers that visit this house after completing the game. To get this surprise, the player needs to head to Leon’s house, go upstairs, then head right until they reach the room with the checkered rug. On this rug is a Pok🌊é Ball with a level 1 Charmander.

The cool part is that by this point, most playe⛎rs should ha꧃ve enough rare candies to level-up this Charmander until it becomes a Charizard. Along with the Poké Ball is a note from Leon wishing the player well and asking for a rematch soon. Nobody can ever say Leon doesn’t have class…or hats.
