Evolution and High Pressured Moves
Squirtle evolves the same way it always has since Gen 1. Trainers simply need to raise it to level 16 f🍨or Squirtle to evolve iꦗnto Wartortle, then to 36 to complete its transformation into Blastoise.
Squirtle's evolution chain can utilize both physical and special attacks efficiently. Additionally, this Pokém🎀on's Torrent ability makes it so water attacks hit with 50% more vengeance when its HP falls below one-third of its maximum. These stats allow this chain to utilize a wide range of offensive ta🐎ctics.
To make the most out of the Torrent ability, trainers should stack this Pokémon's move set 🌟with Water-type moves. Hydro Pump and Aqua Tail are two of its highest pressured moves. Furthermore, Sq♌uirtle's hidden ability, Rain Dish, unlocks upon transfer and restores a bit of HP at the end of each turn under heavy rain conditions. Pairing this hidden ability with the move Rain Dance makes for a pivotal tactic, allowing this Pokémon to bolster its defense while simultaneously raising the power of Water-type moves.
On the other hand, Skull Bash is a two-tur🐲n move that raises the user's defense on the first turn then strikes the oppone🔯nt with a 130 attack power on the second. It's not a water-type move, but it offers great duality and can hit hard where Water-types might fall short.
