Isle of Armor adds new story content, gameplay features, new Pokémon, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gigantamax, and Galarian forms, as well as including many Pokémon from past titles that were missing in the main games. Some of these returning Pokémon are fan-favorites from generation one, so players were particularly happy to see some familiar faces. Take a look at the Kanto Pokémon that fans are most excited toꦅ have back in their parties just below.

10 Lickitung

One of the original 151 Pokémon to return in the new expansion is Lickitung. This Kanto Pokémon initially didn't have an evolution, but it received one as part of generation four and will now evolve into Lickilicky when it levels up while knowing the Rollout move. Lickilicky has also been included in the Isle of Armor expansion.

Lickitung is a normal type Pokémon whose name was originally going to be "Tonguetyd", with it having this name in the beta for Pokémon Red and Blue.

9 Tauros

Tauros is a normal Pokémon with no evolution that used to be one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:strongest Pokémon out of the original 151 Kanto roster, mainly due to its ability to learn Blizzard. In Pokémon Red and Blue, Tauros could only be caught in the Safari Zone.

Tauros is often considered to be a counterpart to Miltank, who was added in generation two. Both are bovine animals with the same base stats, and while Tauros is a male-only Pokémon, Miltank is a female-only Pokémon. Interestingly, Miltank has also been added as part of the Isle of Armor DLC.

8 Scyther

Scyther was another Pokémon that called the Safari Zone home, but it was only native to Pokémon Red, meaning that Pokémon Blue players had to trade to obtain it.

This bug/flying type Pokémon didn't originally have an evolved form, but in generation two, Scizor was added. Scyther will evolve into Scizor when it is traded while holding a Metal Coat. Fortunately, Isle of Armor players can simply obtain a Scizor through raids, which proves easier than trusting others with your 🦄Pokémon in a trade.

7 Chansey

Chansey has to be one of the most adorable Pokémon of the original roster and was 🎶a handy Pokémon to have in your party as it could use its Softboiled move to heal your Pokémon in and out of battle. It could originally be found in the Safari Zone or Cerulean cave.

Though it didn't initially have any other evolutionary forms, in generation two Blissey was added, with Chansey evolving into Blissey when leveled up with high friendship with the player. Additionally, in generation four, Happiny was added as a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:baby Pokémon type, which will evolve into Chansey ♎when leveled up with it 🅠holding an Oval Stone.

6 Psyduck

Psyduck is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:water type Pokémon from generation one that is best known for being Misty's go-to Pokémon in the Pokémon TV series. It evolves into Golduck at level 33. Junichi Masuda, one of the founding members of Game Freak, h🌠as stated that Psyduck is his favorite Pokémon.

Interestingly, Psyduck was originally considered to be the companion Pokémon alongside Pikachu for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Let's Go! games, but ultimately it was decided that Psy🌱duck was too similar to Pikachu in color so G🌳ame Freak went with Eevee instead.

5 Cubone

One of the cutest Pokémon that fans have much sympathy for due to its 🌠sad backstory is Cubone, with its Pokédex entry often referring to how it wears the skull of its dead mother. This ground type Pokémon evolves in🅘to Marowak starting at level 28.

Though Cubone doesn't have an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alolan variant itself, its evolution Marowak does. This variant can also be obtained in the Isle of Armor DLC 𝔍by ཧcompleting the Diglett collection quest or as a trade from an NPC.

4 Alakazam

Alakazam is the final evolution of Abra and was always a firm favorite with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon fans. This psychic type evolves from Kadabra when Kadabra is traded with another player, but in the Isle of Armor, it can be found in raids as well as♈ wal🔴king around in the wild area.

Many fans were hoping that Alakazam would have a Gigantamax form for the Isle of Armor, as it previously received a rather awesome 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mega Evolution form in generation six. Though it currently can't G-Max, there's still plenty of time for it to be given this ability🐼 and receive a cool new look.

3 Bulbasaur

Fans were disappointed that Pokémon Sword & Shield originally only included one Kanto starter Pokémon - Charmander. Fortunately, Nintendo has fixed this in the latest DLC with players being able to choose between 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bulbasaur or Squirtle as part of the story content. Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur at level 16❀ and 💫then evolves into Venusaur at level 32.

Bulbasaur's final evolution, Venusaur, has also been given an awesome Gigantamax form. Interestingly, this grass type Pokémon is the only Pokémon with an evolution family that has all appeared in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros series.

2 🐓 Jigglypuff ꧒

Jigglypuff is arguably one of the cutest Pokémon in the franchise. It evolves into Wigglytuff when a Moon Stone is used on it, but iℱn generation two it also received a baby Pokémon type, Igglybuff. Igglybuff evolves into Jigglypuff when it is leveled up with high friendship.

Originally, Jigglypuff was a pure normal type Pokémon, but when the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fairy type was added in generation six, it became a dual normal/fairy type. Jigglypuff is sometimes shown as having green eyes in other media and titles, such as its appearance in Super Smash Bros. This green-eyed Jigglypuff mor𝔉e closely resembles its shiny🥀 variant.

1 Squirtle

The last Kanto starter to be added is, of course, Squirtle. Though players have to choose between Squirtle or Bulbasaur, their evolved forms can be found in raids so you can easily catch the other type and bre❀ed it for the initial form. Squirtle's final evolution Blastoise also has an awesome Gigantamax form.

Squirtle evolves into Wartortle at level 16 and then evolves into Blastoise at level 36. Squirtle is a fan-favorite 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:water type 🅘that appeared frequently within the anime series, not only as a Pokémon for the likes of Ash, Tierno, May, and Gary but also appearing as the Squirtle ꧅Squad members.
