Pokémon from every Generation are making a return, including many fan favorites both from the competitive and casual sides of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon world. Many of these come from Generation Two's Johto Region. Tons of popular and iconic Pokémon from Johto have entered into the Sword & Shield metagame, and are sure to make a splash.

10 Dunsparce

Dunsparce is everyone's favorite Bug Type looking Pokémon that's not actually a Bug Type. The pure Normal Type captured many of our hearts for its unique and cute appearance. Dunsparce isn't going to make any splash when it comes to the competitive scenes with its less than stellar stats, with the only decent one it has being Health. Despite this, it doesn't always matter how competitively viable a Pokémon is to enjoy it. With the addition of Pokémon Camp, it allows us to play and interact with Dunsparce in ways we never once cou🎉ld.

9 Slowking

While The Isle of Armor provides Slowpoke and Slowbro with a Galar Form, the original forms return as well. This includes Slowking, the only of which doesn't get a new Galar Form in the Slowpoke line (that's for the next expansion). The intelligent counterpart to its alternative evolution, Slowking is welcomed back with open arms. Whichever end evolution you prefer, it's great to have the option between the two once again. Slowking has pretty solid Special stats as well, and the move pool of Sword & Shield can allow it to bec🐓ome a real threat tha💙nks to its Water and Psychic typing.

8 Kingdra

Kingdra makes its triumphant return to Pokémon in The Isle Of Armor, joining Dracovish as the only other Water and Dragon Dual Type in Sword & Shield. With Sword & Shield, Kingdra has access to many fun toys, especially with how easy 🐈Rain is to set up.

Possessing one of the mosꦅt balanced statlines in the game, Kingdra can be played in many different ways. It also has Swift Swim, one of the best Rain based abilities in the whole game. Kingdra is one of the most iconic Pokémon for being the final evolution of Horsea, and it'🌊s great to see it return.

7 Heracross

One of the most popular Pokémon from Generation Two, Heracross has still never gotten an evolution (outside of a Mega Evolution). That didn't stop it from making its comeback. With a unique typing in Bug and Fighting, Heracross is one of the most unique Pokémon to grace the game. With the addition of Dynamax, Heracross' sky-high Attack stat can be b🧔oosted to even greater numbers to deal out devastating damage. With access to powerful abilities such as Guts and Moxie, Heracross has the potential to make a big splash in the competitive scene.

6 Miltank

Anyone who's played Gold & Silver remembers the terror that was Whitney's Miltank. That stuck with all of us and left Miltank as one of the most unexpectedly iconic Pokémon from the Generation. Being incredibly bulky with solid abilities to help play into its defensive prowess gives Miltank a chance to make a mark on the competitive metagame. Miltank has played a role in many different aspects of Pokémon, thanks to its species and having multiple items based on it. It's a very welcome addition back into 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword & Shield.

5 Porygon2

Porygon has always had an interesting history, from the infamous banned anime episode to its unique characteristics. This left a lot of eyes on Porygon and its evolution line, including Porygon 2. So, when it was originally missing from Sword & Shield, its absence was felt. Luckily, The Isle Of Armor brings Porygon2 back.

Porygon2 has access to tons of different moves of various types, and with a solid Special Attack stat to boot, Porygon2's potential in a Dynamax world can be a 🦩real threat, especially with 🍎Eviolite for more boosts.

4 Politoed

Poliwhirl's alternate final evolution from Johto, Politoed splashes back into the Pokémon world with the Expansion Pass. While it came from Generation Two, it really shone in the spotlight in Generation Five with the power of Rain based teams. This is back with Sword & Shield thanks to its access to Drizzle, which will trigger Rain when it's switched in. With a solid set of stats to boot, Politoed can become a real threat and the face of Rain based teams once again. It's an exciting time for Politoed,♏ and Water/Rain based teams overall.

3 Scizor

Scizor has been a staple of the Pokémon metagame since its release. Once it got the powerful ability Regenerator, it cemented itself as one of the best choices you could make when building a team. With a unique Bug and Steel Dual Typing, Scizor also comes packed with a powerful Attack stat and a solid Defense one to boot. With access to powerful stat-boost moves and great Physical Attacking moves to play off of them to boot, Scizor is going to continue to make its mark on the competitive side of Pokémon.

2 Skarmory

The original Steel and Flying Type Pokémon, Skarmory returns in Sword & Shield to continue its defensive dominance from all the previous Generations. Thanks to its typing, Skarmory is only weak to Fire and Electric Type moves while having a plethorꦬa of resistances.

This makes it one of the hardest walls to get over for Physical Attackers, along with its sky-high Defense stat. It can even with🧔stand a one-hit KO move thanks to its ability Sturdy. It has a recovery move in Roost, and can set up Entry Hazards t🌠o make it one of the best supportive Pokémon in the game's history.

1 Blissey

Blissey Action pose in anime

In a Metagame where the highly defensive Clefable is one of the best Pokémon, Blissey will be coming in to give it a run for its money. Blissey possesses the highest Health stat in the entire game, with an insane 255 base. It's also got a great Special Defense stat, making it one of the biggest walls for Special Attackers. With access to a plethora of support moves, Blissey is going to be an insane beast in the Sword & Shield metagame for many teams. Despite🥀 how annoying it can prove to be, Blissey has been an iconic Pokémon in the competitive metagame, and it feels a lot more complete now that it's back.
