When it comes to new and mechanics in Pokémon, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword and Shield were a little lacking in that regard, with the only new mechanics being the Max Raid battles and Dynamax forms. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Isle of Armor sought to rectify this issue, bringing back partner Pokémon after 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee did such an amazing job with it as 🐈well as introducing new battle challenges.
As far as fans know, the main draw for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Crown Tundra is Dynamax Adventures with its ability to catch many returning legendary Pokémon as well as giving players something to sink their teeth into once they have finished the main gꦗame. That being said, t🥂here are some mechanics introduced in the previous DLC that should be further improved upon.
10 💞 Battle Chall🤡enges
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Battle Tower in the base game was, while fun for a while, severely lacking compared to past versions of it. It is a bare-bones experience, with only single and double battle options available and no triple, rotation, or multi battles at all in the game. Isle of Armor, while not expanding on the Battle Tower, did add Restricted Sparring🦋, a new battle challenge that was actually a lot of fun and a great new spin on an old mechanic.
In The Crown Tundra, this kind of mechanic should be improved upon, either with new battle options in these two arenas or by bringing back old b🅰attle modes in another form.
9 Partner ౠPokemon
One of the biggest surprise mechanics that should have been used as a selling point was the return of 🐟partner Pokémon. Even though Pokémon could only follow the player on the Isle of Armor and not in the main overworld, it didn't stop players from always having their favorites follow them around while adventuring in this new area of the map.
While there are some issues with it, mainly the walking speed of partner Pokémon not matching the player's, it was a welcome return nonetheless. The Crown Tundra should expand on this mechanic, fixing the speed issues that make ﷽certain Pokémon lag behind and pop in and out of view as they try desperately𝔍 to keep up with their trainer.
8 🎃 ꧃ Tutor Moves
Tutor moves have almost always been relegated to either post-game sections or seq🌺uels. Since Sword and Shield has neither of those, it only made sense to add them to the Expansion Pass instead. Unlike other move tutors, the Isle of Armor tutor taught Po꧙kémon entirely new moves, rather than being u𓆏sed to teach egg moves more efficiently.
While new moves are always fun, The Crown Tundra should expand on these move tutors to allow more freedom on a Pokémon's moveset. Sword and Shield did make it somewhat easier to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:breed egg moves onto a Pokémon, but it's still a convoluted process that iꦓs more trouble than it should be.
7 𝐆 Cram-O-Matic
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cram-o-Matic allowed for some fun experimentation with old items, as well as allowing the player to get rid of useless items from their bag to turn it into something potentially much more useful. The promise of being able to make 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apricorn Balls was also a huge draw, since they were ꦅotherwise incredibly hard to obtain and meant grind💛ing through the Pokémon League multiple times to even have a chance at getting one.
With new items already being confirmed for The Crown Tundra, the Cram-o-Matic should be upd⛎ated to include these new items in its recipes, particularly with the Ability Patch item.
6 𒊎 Collectables
Sun and Moon and its sequels had some great cไollectibles in the Zygarde cells and Totem Stickers, the rewards for both being worth the hassle of finding the hundreds of each respectfully.
These kinds of collectibles returned in The Isle of Armor with the Alolan Digletts, which were a nice way of exploring the island and gave players some great rewards in alternate form Pokémon. This should be expanded on in The Crown Tundra, particularly since there are many returning Pokémon who have had alternate or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mega forms.
5 Galarian For꧂ms 🌟
Unlike the Alolan forms, some of which were too gimmicky for their own good, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Galarian forms have all been relatively well balanced and able to hold t♔heir own against newer Pokémon in the series.
While fans already know that there is a Galarian Slowking and legendary birds, it is still up in the air whether or not these new forms will live up to heights reached by the others. In the case of the legendary birds, Articuno and Moltres have a long history of being mediocre at best compared to Zapdos, whose Kantonianꦜ form had seen a great deal of competitive play in the past, so they will need to be particularly good for them to overcome their past shortcomings.
4 ♒ 𒁃 New Key Items
While Key Items have been quite important in the past with the likes of the bicycle and fishing rod, there haven't been many instances of a new Key Item being introduced into the game that changes the gameplay in any significant way. In The Isle of Armor, players gained access to two ne💛w items: the Mark Charm and EXP Charm.
While both of these items are fairly simple and don't do much more than change certain wild battles, it does open the door for new, similar items to be introduced in The Crown Tundra with similar effects.
3 New NPC Raid Partners 🌜 🍒
The standard 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:NPC Raid partners are notoriously bad, with the likes of a Hydro Pumping Magikarp that does no damage and a Solrock that likes to spam Cosmic Power for no reason being particular standouts. Though The Isle of Armor added Klara and Avery as potential partners who were actually good, itꦍ's still a long way from letting players have good partners, since NPC's are randomized when going into a Raid Den alone.
This addition does open the door for more and better trainers to be added to the roster of potential Raid partners though, mꦛeaning it might be possible to do certain 5-star Raids offline where they were otherwise nearly impossible.
2 ꦫ The Wild Area Weather ꦍ
Despite the Isle of Armor being a rather small area, it was able to hold a diverse range of overworld areas that felt much more organic than the main area in Sword and Shield. While 💃the areas themselves were done better, the weather wasn't fixed as much as it couꦯld have been, with vastly different kinds of weather going on within meters of each other.
Since the Crown𝄹 Tundra is a mostly snowy region, it would make sense for it to mostly be snow𓆏ing in those areas where snow is present in the overworld.
1 Surprise Mechanics 𝐆
Restricted Sparring and partner Pokémon were both nice surprises for players who had been following every new announcement of The Isle of Armor, since neither mechanic 𒁃were shown before th🧸e DLC was released.
In the same vein, there are more than likely mechanics that haven't been shown yet that will be introduced in The Crown Tundra, in pa⛦rticular with more battle challenges, since there is still a lot missing from pre💞vious games in that regard.
