The latest promotional trailer for Pokémon Sword & Shield is the longest one yet𝕴, as there is a twenty-four-hour long livestream currently happening that shows a forest within the Galar r♎egion. The stream has been on for a few hours and little has happened to justify its length, outside of some soothing music.

The developers of Pokémon Sword & Shield have been gradually revealing information about the games and there are still many questions that the fans have about their content, even though they are only six weeks away from being released. The Pokémon Company recently revealed that the next footage of the game would involve a lives🔯tream lasting twenty-four hours, which is set in the Glimwood Tangle forest within the Galar region as part of a research project.

The Galar region livestream has begun and it hasn't been very excitജing so far. The stream shows an image of trees and mushrooms within a misty forest, while strange (yet soothing) music plays in the background. There have been a few brief instances of Pokémon appearing for a couple of seconds, including a Pikachu, some Phantump, and some Morelull, but there has yet to be any new i💛nformation revealed about the games. It's more reminiscent of some niche bird-watching CCTV livestreams than anything else.

It's strange that the developers of Pokémon Sword & Shield would want to promote the game in this way, especially over such a long span of time. It's as if The Pokémon Company expects fans to sit a🤪nd stare at an empty screen for hours on end, just for the chance of seeing the ꦏdebut of Galarian MissingNo or Gigantamax Ditto.

The idea of running a twenty-four-hour livestream definitely seems like a strange way of promoting the game, especially as any new revelations will likely only take up a small portion of the overall broadcast. On the plus side, the music is very soothing and it would be easy to relax or study to, assuming that Pokémon fans have grown weary of lo-fi beats.

Pokémon Sword & Shield will ඣbe released for the Ninteꦯndo Switch on November 15, 2019.
