The only dark type gym leader in the Pokémon world, Piers has all the charisma of a leading man with the Pokémon to back it up. His variety of odd-looking characters contain some of the most unique type combinations of any gym leader before him. Making planning the battle out a tricky task, t🎐he diverse move set is a hard puzzle to crack.

On the flip side, Piers' type combinations also open up the defensive hole in much of his squad. Usually, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dark type Pokémon have very niche selection of type weaknesses, making fighting them hard as they have some of the most effective moves in the game. Much of the team is a quick breeze if trainers have a solid team, with the last hal🔥f of the battle ramping up the difficulty.
6 Morpeko
The hungriest mouse roaming the Galar region, it even changes form when it goes without food. Piers doesn't technically have him on his battle team but he did catch it for his younger sister, Marnie. Whil🤡e a temperamental electric mouse might not be the best pet, it will certainly scare the opposition pre-meal.
While its hangry mode looks a little frightening, it's also the holder of the least impressive stat chart of any of Piers' Pokémon. Besides the relatively 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:high-speed stat, every aspect of its battle skills is underwhelming. The best thing it has going is its ability to change types, switching from electric to dark gives it a wider array of weak 🦹attacks to choose from.
5 Scrafty
The least intimidating Pokémon in the team, which is saying something when you have the likes of Skuntank hanging around. Scrafty is the only 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fighting type in Piers' possession making it even stranger, no matter how angry of a ♒face it has Scrafty can't get rid of those stick-like arms. It 💟doesn't help that its defence is a flap of loose skin that sags over its legs.
While there isn't much to fear on the attack side of things, that loose skin apparently provides it with some very high defence. Creating the opportunity for type matched attacks before the skin defence fails. Physi💛cal attacks only though, its special attack stat is one of the worst in the entire game. It's best to stack up the m💖ove set with fighting type attacks or players will find a pillow fisted Pokémon has joined their party.
4 Skuntank
A unique type combination makes Skuntank a g♏reat attack Pokémon for many a battle. Both poison and dark take care of the more fringe types, giving players a back up when the usual suspects don't work out. While it won't🌃 be a key player for most trainers, it's one of the best options to get players out of a sticky situation.
Its moves really pum🦩p up the rankings seeing as Skuntank's stats are very middle of the road. Although trainers may ꦯbe fooled by its high HP, the low defensive capabilities even out the battle. Giving you only a few chances to do some real damage against strong enemies, its inflated attack power will help the process.
3 Malamar
While Obstagoon definitely gives off the rebel attitude, Malamar has the most villainous aesthetic on the squad. Evolving it from the much more approachable Inky, Players have to hold the console upside down to initiate the trans🐈formation. There's a reason it balances on its head.
While Malamar's stats aren't exactly great, its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:strong psychic attacks combined with the array of dark moves make it a formidable enemy. It's not just a devious pair of eyes, its attacks are mostly 100% accuracy. Giving you a great type match 🌸along with attacks that can't miss. Even the most stubborn of land lovers have to recognize Malamar's range and damage potential.
2 ꦉ Toxtricity 🌄
Another one Piers' Pokémon that has 2 forms, unlike Morpeko, Toxtricity's form is a permanent choice determined by the Toxel's nature. Whether the trainer receives the Amped Up or Low Key form, the battle stats remain the same. Only the colors and visible dꦛemeanor will change, mak💜ing the decision purely aesthetic.
Electric/poison type combination makes Toxtricity's evolution chain one of a kind, mounting an offense becomes easier when the opponent isn't expecting it. This combined with its high special attack stat makes the lizard a great asset to any💜 team, despite its relatively low numbers in other categories. Besides, the looks alone should🌠 be enough for players to take it for a test spin.
1 Obstagoon
The most consistent in the lineup, Obstagoon is Piers' trademark Pokémon. A match for his punk rock style, the badger is capable of making enemies flinch by the sound oܫf its booming voice. It's also the only Pokémon with the Obstruct ability, distracting the foe before launching its own dark type a﷽ttack.
Its stats all ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚring in on the high end with the exception of special attack and defense being its highest which allows the incessant taunting it enjoys. Throughout its leveling Obstagoon learns 8 different move ty𓃲pes, making it one of the most versatile offensive forces in the game.
