The first of the two-part expansion pass available to Pokémon Sword and Shield fans, The Isle of Armor, recently arrived. Among the treasure trove of new content are a whole new area, plotlines, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:characters, and much more.

One of the much-anticipated additions from the DLC was the return of some past generation Pokémon. Fans were particularly happy to have more Pokémon added as it has been a contentious issue that not all previous Pokémon were included in the Sword and Shield base game. However, many fan-favorite Pokémon still appear to be missing and there are definꦆitely a few from the Sinnoh region that players believe should have been added in the most recent DLC.

10 Pachirisu

pachirisu

Pachirisu is an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Electric-type Pokémon that has no evolutionary forms but is still a firm fan-favorite as it is absolutely adorable. It is best known for being one of the Pokémon that Dawn has in her team in the Pokémon anime.

This Pokémon's appearance is based on a squirrel, adding to its cute factor, and making it one of the top contenders for players' Pokémon teams. Regrettably, this Pokémon has yet to appear in Sword and Shield, despite fans hoping it would reappear in the Isle of Armor.

9 Chatot

Chatot is a Normal/Flying-type and takes on the appearance of a bird that has a music note-shaped head and a metronome-shaped tail. Though Chatot currently has no evolutionary forms, fans were hoping that the Isle of Armor wou🎃ld add new evolutionary lines for Pokéꦯmon like this.

Unfortunately, when it came to brand new Pokémon, the Isle of Armor was pretty thin on the ground, only adding Kubfu and its evolved forms. Additionally, only two new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Galarian forms were added with Slowpoke and Slowbro.

8 Finneon

Finneon is a Water-type Pokémon that evolves into Lumineon starting at level 31. There isn't exactly a lack of pure 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Water-types in the game, but Finneon is worthy of being included in Sword and Shield due to its popularity with fans.

The Isle of Armor would have been the perfect place to introduce Finneon as the new area has plenty of water, as it is based on an island surrounded by smaller i♓slets. It would⛦ have been great to see Finneon swimming around the waters in the new area.

7 Spiritomb

Spiritomb is a Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon that doesn't evolve into any other form at present. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ghost-type Pokémon are usually a favorite when it comes to the Pokémon community, yet 𓆉for some reason, this type is normally und♛er-represented in the games as a whole.

That's why fans were wishing that more Ghost-type Pokémon would have been added in the Isle of Armor, and while the DLC did add Sandyghast and Palossand, Ghost-type Pokémon are still lacking in Sword and Shield. Perhaps the next DLC, The Crown Tundra, will add more Ghosts for players.

6 Shieldon

Shieldon is a Rock/Steel-type Pokémon that evolves into Bastiodon starting at level 30. In generation four, players could obtain Shieldon by resurrecting it from the Armor Fossil. Due to its la꧅cꦿk of horns, it is believed that Shieldon is based on the Protoceratops dinosaur.

Considering that the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fossil Pokémon that debuted in Sword and Shield were such a let-down to fans as they were strange mix-matched abominations, fans would have loved to see some of the older Fossil Pokémon returned to the ga🍃me.

5 Burmy

Burmy is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bug-type Pokémon that has three different forms, wearing a Plant Cloak when last battled in tall grass, Sandy Cloak when last ba🎃ttled on a beach or in a cave, and lastly, th🐬e Trash Cloak when it was last battled in a building.

Depending on its gender, Burmy can evolve into two different♚ Pokémon, Mothim if male and Wormadam when female. Wormadam has one of three sub-types depending on the cloak 𒆙it has, which is dependent on which cloak Burmy has when it evolves and remains permanent for Wormadam.

4 Buizel

Buizel is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Water-type Pokémon that evolves into Floatzel starting at level 26. Buizel is best known for being one of Dawn's Pokémon in🐻 the anime, which she eventually trades with Ash for his Aipom as Buizel wanted to take part in Pokémon battles rather than contests.

Buizel is an adorable looking Pokémon, making it a clear fan-favorite, and it would have made a great addition to the watery area of the Isle of Armor DLC due to its pure Water-type status.

3 Cranidos

Like Shieldon, Cranidos was one of the Fossil Pokémon from generation four and players could obtain it by resurrecting the Skull Fossil. Crani🍃dos evolves into Rampardos starting at level 30.

Cranidos is a pure 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rock-type Pokémon, of which there aren't very many in the Pokémon titles, with there currently being only 15 pure Rock-types. Despite fans being desperate for older Fossil Pokémon to be added, the pure Rock-type quota for the Isle of Armor appears to have been filled by Rockruff and its evo𒅌lutions.

2 Gible

Gible is an adorable Dragon/Ground-type Pokémon that evolves into Gabite at level 24, before evolving into Garchomp starting at level 48. Garchomp received a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mega evolution in generation six, so ♍fans were hoping it could ⛎be a potential candidate for a Gigantamax form.

Gible's appearance appears to be a mixture of shark and a dragon, which is fitting due to its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon typing. Gible and its evolutionary line are very popular within the Pokémon community, not only because of its cuteness-turned-awesomeness when it evolves, but also because oꩵf its rarer Dragon-type.

1 🍰 Sinnoh Starters 😼

Starter Pokémon always end up being fan-favorites, usually for nostalgia reasons, and they're also often the focus of shiny hunters. T♋he Hoenn starters were Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup and each has two further evolutions just like all of the other starters.

The Alolan starters made it into the Isle of Armor DLC courtesy of the Diglett trainer, though fans were hoping a few others would make the cut. Hopefully, the next DLC, The Crown Tundra, will add even more starters for fans to obtain.
