168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword and Shield kicks-off by televising the Gym League. Though the Galar region follows a similar formula to tꩵhat of its predecessors, it tells its own story.
Hop is the protagonist's friendly rival throughout the series. Every game has had one, friendly or not, thoug♏h not always as excitable as Hop. He's driven to defeat his brother Leon- the current regional champion- and claim the title.
Leon gifts the starter Pokémon instead of Professor Magnolia, whose role is to introduce 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dynamaxing. After receiving starter Pokémon, trainers enter the Slumbering Wealds bordering their home. A mysterious Pokémon is encountered, correlating to Galar's legend the Darkesꦬt Day.
🍃Trainers meet Magnolia's granddaughter, Sonia at the Professor's lab. She is a childhood rival of Leon's. Magnolia sends Sonia on an exploratory study of the Darkest Day, periodically converging with the trainer's travels.
Gym Challenge Registration
Bede, a pompous 🀅challenger, brushes past Hop during gym registration, making a distasteful first impression. Bede's endorsed by🌄 the Chairman and thus thinks he's above other Challengers.
In the Budew Drop Inn, players en⛄counter Team Yell as they heckle the concierge. Another challenger, Marnie arrives apologizing for Team Yell's actions once players defeat them- they are her riotous fan club. Marnie's later encountered again at the inn, battling players to test her skills🌠 while analyzing their rivalry potential. After losing, she takes on a tougher persona but isn't vindictive like Bede. Marnie's intentions remain unclear for quite a while still.
Chairman Rose & Oleana
Rose and Oleana are spotted in Hulbury surrounded by fans. Bede is there, sucking up to Chairman Rose who tactlessly forgets tꦆhe boy's name- insensitive as he'd initially taken the orphaned Bede under his wing. This is the first time players meet Rose outside of televised events. His company supplies electricitꦚy to Galar.
After earning another badge, Chairman Rose invites the player to dinner. Sonia's 🅺invited too and the conversation is monopolized by talk of Professor M🐻agnolia's contributions to Dynamaxing and the Chairman's energy concerns.
Hop's Defeat and Wishing Stars
Players set out for Hammerlocke with Hop, but encounter Bede in the Wild Area. Hop battles Bede while the player goes ahead. Instead of regrouping with Hop, Bede arrives in Hammerlocke declaring his victory and an appointment with the Chairman. This defeat triggers 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hop's character development.
Players overhear Bede's talk of collecting Wishing Stars to help Chairman Rose. Oleana then asks to speak with Bede in private. Spotting the player, Chairman Rose explains that his company extracts Dynamax energy from Wishing S♏tars.
Stow-On-Side
Stow-On-Side is home to a historic mural which is confoundingly underwhelming. Sonia and the protagonist stop Be🔯de from using the Chairman's Copperajah to destroy the mural. The Chairman arrives and revokes Bede's endorsement, forcing his resignation as a Challenger. The mural crumbles revealing the tru⛎e historic site; two heroes alongside two legendary pokémon holding a sword and shield.
Opal's Successor
Opal hosts an interesting Gym challenge, doubling as an audition for the next fairy-type Gym Leader. After defeating her, players escort Opal back to Hammerlocke where she meets Bede. Opal sympathizes with him being cast out by the Chairman and immediately declares Bede 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her successor on account of his magenta attire.
Spikemuth
The Spikemuth gate is shut, but Marnie appears revealing a side entrance. Spikemuth is Marnie's hometown and she claims her Morpeko fancies the player, which intrigues her. Spikemuth's gate being closed confuse๊s Marnie, 🦹so she heads to investigate.
Spikemuth is a run-down one-street town revealing Team Yell's plot and Marnie's lack of involvement. They've shut down the city al🐟lowing only Marnie to challenge the Gym Leader. Players catch up to Marnie telling several Grunts off for obstructing the integrity of the Gym Challenge. Spikemuth's Gym Leader Piers is revealed to be Marnie's brother. He intends to pass the Gym down to Marnie who declines in order to pursue bigger goals of becoming champion.
Dinner Plans
After some background events which the player is ushered away from and victory against both rivals in the semi-finals, Leon invites Hop and the player to celebrate over dinner but never🐭 shows. Piers is sent to relay Leon had to meet with the Chairman. Oleana prevents everyone from interrupting by sending a league staff member away with the only key to the tower. Piers, Marnie and Team Yell, come to aid as a wild൩ goose chase ensues.
After acquiring the key, Hop and the protagonist proceed through Rose Tower. Player💫s find Leon arguing with the Chairman atop the tower. Chairman Rose worries for Galar's distant future, but Leon refuses to postpone the Championship.
The Finals
The finals consist 🐻of besting Gym Leaders again. Instead of Opal, Bede walks onto the pitch demanding a rematch. He summarizes how he underwent Fairy Bootcamp and blames the player for his every grievance since starting the Gym Challenge. Upon defeat, he attempts resignation but due to overwhelming spectator support is unable to quit. Alas, he becomes the new Fairy-t🎐ype Gym Leader.
Hop pops in the locker room to lend support- Marnie, and Piers too. Piers has already been disqualified and Marn♏ie sees it as a poor reflection on her. Marnie states she's now rooting for the player to win.
Championship Match Interrupted
The Chairman interrupts the championship match with an announcement over the big screen; he's triggering the Darkest Day to ensure Galar's future. Leon rushes to stop h♔im while H𒊎op and the protagonist look to enlist the legendary guardians' help in the Slumbering Wealds. A broken sword and shield are found.
Players find Oleana pacing the entrance of the ๊powerplant. Dynamaxed pokémon are running rampant as a result of the Chairman's ac🍸tions. Players discover he has been feeding wishing stars to the legendary Pokémon Eternatus, causing earthquakes and energy bursts. After defeating the Chairman, players head to the roof where Leon fails to capture Eternatus. Hop suggests breaking out the rusty sword and shield, awakening the mythical guardian pokémon who fought against the Darkest Day long ago.
The next morning the Championship match takes place. A rather anti-climatic finale as players just saved Galar and now have ad🌺ded Eternatus to their team for the final showdown.
There are many subplots throughout Sword and Shield, but t♐hey begin to tie together as the story progresses, culminating in a unique addition to the series.
