Piers is one of the gym leaders in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and although he is capable of some incredible 🍸feats within the games, he's also a very weird character with many bizaඣrre traits. These traits manifest in many different ways, such as his spiky hair and dislike of Dynamaxing.
Some of the things that make up Piers and his character don't make s♈ense and are q♒uestionable considering the nature of his gym and his personality. Piers also has some peculiar things about his appearance, including his clothes and hair.
10 Piers' Hair 𓃲♋
Piers has hair that is quite peculiar, and this is mostly due to the way that it sticks up in a spiky manner﷽ and looks rather weird.
A lot of fans of Piers will even admit that his hair may be cool; however, it doesn't make any sense at a💃ll. Perhaps Piers has some kind of hair gel that nobody is aware of, but even that wouldn't likely make his hair as spiky as it is in the games.
9 Piers Runs An Evil Team But Is Actually Very Kindꦓ
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:evil teams in the Pokémon world are scary, to say the least, and they usually bring about cataclysmic event𝄹s that could destroy the world as the characters know it.
However, Piers is different in the way that he runs Team Yell in that it isn't an evil team at all; although the grunts may sometimes get in the player's way. Team Yell just wants to cheer on Piers and Marnie, and Piers is more of a hไero than a villain considering that he helps save the Galar region from Swordward and Shieldbert.
8 🃏 Piers Wasn't Pr🦋esent At The Gym Leader Event
The gym leader event at the beginning of Pokémon Sword and Shield was a major starting point for the gym trainers, and the player will get tꦫo meet a ton of interesting Gym Leaders during this in-game presentation.
Piers is the only gym leader that isn't present at this event, and that is very strange since every other gym leader managed to make an appearance. Perhaps Piers doesn't like flashy places꧋, but considering that he sometimes performs small concerts, it's weird th𒈔at he didn't show his face at all.
7 ⛎ Piers Dislikes Dynamaxing 𝓡
Dynamaxing is a tradition in the Galar region, which is why Piers not enjoying this 🗹new me💛chanic is very weird and out of place.
Every gym will allow the player the ability to Dynamax their Pokémon, and the gym leaders will also use this feature to battle the player. Piers is the only gym leader in the game that will not Dynamax his Pokemon during a battle with the player, and he even sta🌟tes outside of battle that he prefers not using this mechanic.
6 Piers Tells Team Yell To Cheer On The Player In The Cham♍ไpion Cup
Team Yell was initially cheering for Marnie during the Champion Cup in Pokémon Sword and Shield; however, they will completely shift their enthusiasm𒀰 towards the player once they defeat Marnie, under Piers' command.
This shows that Pierce is not ༒a petty person because even though the player defeats his sister during a battle, he still wants to cheer them on. Most people wouldn't act this way if their little sister lost a battle, and it is questionable that Piers chooses to cheer the player on.
5 Piers Will Often Rev🃏eal His Strategies During A Match 𝓀
Piers will reveal strategies that he likes to use during the heat of battle because it makes the fight more interesting. This can be seen in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and it is also stated wi🉐📖thin the dialogue in the games.
🧸Piers isn't the most strategic person; however, it would seem that he would act smarter than this during a Pokémon battle, which makes🔯 this one the weirdest things about this character.
4 Piers Has Always Dreamed Of Being A Music𒊎ian
Piers has dreamed about being a musician for all of his life, which isn't weird by itself; however, the fact that Piers decides to become a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gym leader instead speaks volumes about his character.
Most characters would run off and become a musician; however, Piers decided to pursue his Pokémꦕon battling dream first and then eventually hand the gym d𝓀own to Marnie. Since Piers has had this musical dream for all of his life, it is questionable why he decided not to pursue it sooner.
3 Piers Is Guilty That Spikemuth Isn't A 🌞Popular City
It is revealed that Piers feels guilty that Spikemuth isn't a popular gym, and the reason that it is so unpopular is because of its lac🅰k of the Dynamax feature.
Competitive Pokémon fans do not want to watch a fight without Dynamaxing in the Galar region, and this isn't too surprising considering that it adds a lot of depth and enjoyability to watching a battle. What doesn't make sense about this is that it is not Piers' fault that he cannot Dynamax his Pokémon since there is ꦓno power spot in Spikemuth City.
2 Piers Is A Potℱential Contest🌱ant In The Champion Tournaments
After the player defeats Leon in the Champion Cup, ꧃they can challenge the Cup in a tournamen📖t type style. Piers will be present as one of the potential contestants for the player to battle in this tournament.
This is extremely weird since Piers decided to pursue his musical dream after the events of the game, a⛦nd as such, h💙e shouldn't have as much time to battle in the Champion Cup.
1 ꦅ Piers Is The Seventh Gym Leader
Piers never uses Dynamax with his Pokémon both because he can't due to the locat💜ion of his gym and also beca🍒use he doesn't prefer to do so, as previously mentioned.
This makes the fact that Piers is one of the hardest gym leaders in the game makes little sense because this powerful mechanic isn't at all present in Piers' Gym battle. Piers probably should have been one of the first three gyms, which is also logical considering that he is a major character in other events in the game; however, he gets introduced very late in Sword and Shield.
