It's only been a month and some change, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword and Shield is still making its waves in the gaming world. You have probably tried to catch 'em all, and been through each town several times by nowꦡ. However, there are some odd things about the game's core region, Galar.
The Pokémon are different there, and the gym leaders are a bit...interesting. It is expansive in size as well as its mysteries. So, today, we🥀 are going to touch on some of the oddities about this place. Here are ten things that make no sense about Galar.
10 Adapting It To Another Real-Life Loꦆcation
We all know that developers have done this in the past. New York, Paris, Hawaii, and various parts of Japan have all been adapted into the games. This time, art director, James Turner, decided to make Galar based off of the United Kingdom. While some fans are excited about this development, it does bring up an inquiry. There are cult💟ural things in this land that many gamers not understand. This observation goes for all the times the game has been adapted to fit a real-life location. While it is okay to have a nod here and there, does it make sense to base a gaming 𒅌location to a real country each time?
9 🍃 Galar's Naming Origins
It is always refreshing to know where the names༺ of various regions within games came from. They can give you a clue about what is to come, and the history of the location. However, things are a bit odd here. There isn't one solid definition of the origin of Galar's name.
It could be from the word gallant, a gala (which is an event), or something else entirely. Is this just an unusual name that the developers came up with, or does it have some meani🥂ng? Also, what is the significance of it missing the core region's signature hard "O?" We may never know.
8 An Increas🌸e In Fossils
There must have been some intense seismic or meteoric activity happening in Galar. This region has introduced the most fossils out of any game. Most have added two or even none. Galar has doubled that number with four. Why four? What happened for there to be this bump in pre-historic data? Is it because of the falling of the meteorite Eternatus? The fact that the number jumps up is bizarre and doesn't make a lot of sense🔥 without context.
7 🐼 The Free Time 🌺Of The Mine Workers
The Galar mines are an odd place. You don't have to worry about automatic battles with Pokémon, but you do have to keepඣ an eye out for the mineworkers. Wait, huh? What is it that these people do for a living?
Do they battle Pokémon, or are they working the mines? Is one a side hustle, while the other is their main 🐻job? We have no idea. Mineworking seems like it is a dangerous business, and it looks pretty weird that these individuals w✨ould be so obsessed with battling you. Shouldn't they be at work?
6 ༒ Where Are The Electric-type Gym Lead𒀰ers?
Much like that hard "O," Galar also seems to be missing electric-type gym leaders. Most of the regions in ♛the series, from Kanto to Unova and even Kalos has included some electric-type gym leader. So, what is different about Galar? Does it have to do with the weather, or is there something even odder going on? It doesn't make much sense that the developers would buck this trend. Hmmm, maybe there isn't enough electric energy in Great Brita🍌in...sorry...Galar.
5 Whe𓃲re Are The Mythical Pokémon? ♓
It is almost tradition that mythical Pokémon will be introduced 💙toward the start of the game. However,﷽ things are a bit different this time. While some savvy gamers have found evidence of mythical Pokémon in the game's files, these creatures have not yet been formally introduced.
Where are these guys, and why have they not been unleash𒉰ed onto the Galar region? ℱMaybe they are being replaced by the "Legendary" Pokémon. One can only guess, but it probably has to do with something outside of the game: as in updates and DLC content. How commercial.
4 Two Galar Anime Outings? 𓆉
As is with most installments, Ash typically gets first dibs on the core regions. There is usually an anime series that accompanies these games that give Ash Ketchem the honor of exploring the area. This media is typically solely dedicated to him and his exploits. However, things are a bit different. It seems that there will be two pieces of media introducing this region. One is Pokémon: The Series, which will feature Ash and a Galar friend, while the other is a standalone web series entitles Pokémon: Twilight Wings. They look strikingly different. Does it make sense to have two plots about the sam🌜e gaming region?
3 ꦦ ꦅ Fewer Routes
Even though Galar is probably the most massive re🤡gion so far, it has the most infrequent routes. Routes are typically defined as the location between two cities. They may be blocked by various obstacles or broken down into other passageways.
This location is where players are more likely to run i𝕴nto wild Pokémon. So, it is pretty odd that this region would have much fewer routes than other games, especially with the area being as large as it is. We wonder what the decision was behind this one.
2 ♛ What Is Up With 🙈The Climate?
We get it. Galar is huge. We also know that it is meant to represent an actual country. However, what is up with all of the changing weather patterns? Each location within the region almost has a different biome than the rest of the area. This situation especially pertains to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wild Area. This place will experience sandstorms, fog, intense sun, and everything else in between. What is going on with global warming here? How are these Pokémon even ꦐsurviving? Maybe some of the scientists in this region need to see what is violently changing this weather.
1 𒁃 Ummm Meowth?
Some of these guys that have evolved into Galarian type Pokémon don't look that 🐓different from the original. Well, we cannot say the same about . This guy has had a skin tan, seems as if he has sprouted horns all over his body, and has a weird, almost psychotic-looking smile. Who is this, and how was he created? Some have been by his transformation. Meowth isn't the only Pokémon to look a little odd. Others are also have gone some weird evolution in this place. What is iღn the water in Galar?
