It is becoming increasingl♏y common now for games to offer players a plethora of side quests and activities to do alongside the main campaign. That has always been customary in Pokémon games. Typically, once you become champion or defeat the elite four, you find new areas unlocked or you learn about more legendary Pokémon to track down.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword and Shield also have their fai🐻r share of post-game material. But in some ways, it fails and others, it succeeds. The following list details what the game did right and what it did wrong with its post-game.
10 Does Right: Releas💃i🧸ng DLC Content
Many fans have differing opinions on the DLC cont𝔉ent but it will introduce something brand new to the world of Pokémon that hasn't been seen or included in the franchise before. Game Freak is releasing two brand new areas complete with new stories and Pokémon.
Even better, they're releasing them several months apart so we can't burn through the whole thing too fast, giving everyone something to wait for later in the year. You can also purchase them both together so they're not double chargi𓄧ng. Some people feel like this content should have been included in the original game, which is a fair point, but at least we're getting them!
9 Does Wrong: It Is Very Short 💝
Once you become the champion and beat the main storyline, it won't take you very long to get through the post-game content. Sure, if you haven't been working on your Pokedex or you want to tackle the Battle Tower, it will take some time but overa🍷ll, the content is lacking.
Most peopl🌱e cite only spending a couple of hours on the post-game content before they run out of things to do or it begins to get repetitive. The short quests and rematch battles can only last you so long.
8 🅰 Does Right: Inclusion Of A Battle Tower
Like many of the Pokémon games that came before it, Sword and Shield include the Battle Tower, which has become a franchise staple. There have been several versions✤ of the same thing in oꦜther games.
Many 🎐fans love the Battle Tower because it gives them a chance to train and battle with many different Pokémon that they may not have had the chance to use while playing the main story. You'll get to level up through the ranks, earn different prizes, and challenge a number of new and challenging opponents.
7 ⛎ Does Wrong: Lack Of Legendari♔es
The lack of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:legendary Pokémon in this game is seriously disappointing. The only legendaries you can find are th𓃲e obvious, Zacian and Zamazenta, and then Eternatus, who you'll catch i⭕n the main story. You can also technically include Null and Silvally. Beyond that, there's nothing else -- at least not yet.
Based on new information, we will be seeingꦕ a Pokémon named Zarude added to the game along with several other legendaries in the DLC, potentially even many of the legendaries from the old games, some even in Galarian form. But it's unfortunate there weren't more new ones introduced into the main game.
6 🌠 🧸 Does Right: The Wild Area
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wild Area has been one of the best-received new aspects of the games. Most players spend hours there throughout their journey, but once you beat the sto🍌ry, you can truly go crazy there. Coꦓmplete your Pokedex and partake in Raid battles.
You'll never run out of things to do in the Wild Area💞. It's nice because you can catch a lot of rare Pokémon in the game that you won't be able to find elsewhere.
5 ܫ ꧋ Does Wrong: The Cut Pokedex
Many players are still upset over the massively reduced Pokedex. Some have even gone so far as to not buy the game at all once they learned of the many Pokꦫemon being re🔜moved from the game.
There were a lot of people that hoped the Pokedex could be unlocked after you finish the story, but that didn't turn out to be the case. It seems like Game Freak may be rectifying this somewhat with the D🏅LCs.
4 ༺ Does Right: The Online Competitive Battles
A lot of people love the multiplayer and online components of the Pokémon games. You'll be able to spend a substantial amount of time embar𒊎king in these battles when you get 🌱to the post-game. You can go online to do multiplayer raid battles and try to catch Pokemon with the ability to Gigantamax.
It's amazing how far we've come in terms of o🔜nline playing, you can battle against people from across the globe and meet all kinds of Pokémon and trainers from far and wide. Work together in a raid battle or duke it out in a showdown!
3 Does Wrong: No Ne💙w Areas To Explore
Not every Pokémon game has a new place to go, island to find, or area to check out, which is a shame. That's something many fans were hoping for considering this game received a lot of attention for being a brand Switch console Pokémon game, one that we haven't seen in years -- since it is much different than the previous Let's Go entry.
Unfortunately, there's really nowhere new to go after you beat the game. It would have been cool if you could unlock a new town or region within the Wild Area, but alas, nothing -- at least not until thඣe DLC.
2 ♌ Does Right: More Fights, Mysteries, An꧑d Items
Once you do manage to finish the main story, a n🐠ew mystery begins! It's not a long-lasting one, but it does give you the chance to learn more about Dynamaxing. You also get the chance to challe🍰nge some of your most notable rivals, including Hop, for tougher and more intense battles.
You'll also get to meet some new characters and track down coveted items like the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shiny Charm and more. There are some downfalls to th𒆙e post-game content, but at least you have some stuff to do and it doesn't just end altogether.
1 Does Wrong: Not Much Different From Older Games ꦓ
As we've mentioned before, people 🥂had a lot of expectations for this game and it fell short in a lot of ways, particularly in the post-game content. While things like the Wild Area were very well-received, a lot of folks were🦄 disappointed how much of this game was identical to older games, or, worse.
Sword and Shield h🐷ave been unfavorably compared to previous entries in the franchise that had wa📖y more content to do and things to explore, both in the story and afterward. People felt this iteration was too short, with a story that didn't have much meat to it.
