Of all the eight Pokémon generations, Hoenn seems to have some of the most impressively big Pokémon around. While the GameBoy Advance was incapable of expressing just how big a Wailord is next to a trainer through graphics alone, the Pokédex provides some interesting info about the he𝓡ight of these collectible monsters.
It's mind-boggling to think that it's perfectly legal for a trainer to battle someone with a Pokémon that is over 50 feet tall and weighs over a ton, but they aren't messing around in the Pokémon world. Here❀ are the ten most insanely tall Pokém🅠on that debuted in the third gen's Hoenn region.
10 Flygon – 6'7꧃" 🔯
Here is one of the many favorited Dragon-types introduced in Gen III, the Mystic Pokémon, Flygon. There are quite a lot of Pokémon that happen to be 6'7", or 2 meters, and Flygon barely beats 𒅌out Wailmer and Slaking.
Flygon is the tallest of the non-legendary Dragon-types found in Hoenn, as Salamence is only 4'11" and Altaria stands at a measly 3'7". The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon anime seems to have a lot of inconsistencies when it comes to the si📖ze of these Dragons, as Salamence is often shown to be much taller than Fly🐼gon despite being almost two feet shorter.
9 🍎 Latios – 6'7"
Latios is far from the only legendary Pokémon on this list, as Hoe🍸nn's legendaries are gargantuan creatures that are only topped by a select few. Latios is the same h♐eight as Flygon, making it the fifth Hoenn Pokémon that is 2 meters tall.
It's impossible to notice the drastic height difference between Latios and Latias in the Gen III games𝓡, as Latias is actually exactly 2 feet shorter at 4'7". The anime and movies do, however, showcase this height difference.
8 💎 Aggron – 6'11"
Tall enough to stand with some of the most successful NBA players like Kevin Durant, Aggron is a steel giant with some of the highest defensive and offensive cap🥃abilities in the entire region.
While Aggron does have a Mega Evolution𓆉, like a lot of other Hoenn Pokémon, they were💛 technically introduced in the sixth generation. If we were to include Mega Aggron, he would be gaining a few extra inches to stand at 7'3".
7 ꧅ Hariyama – 7'7"
Hariyama is another instance where it is difficult to determine its height through the game alone, as it wouldn't be surprising to mi🍃stake it for only being around 4 feet tall. However, it ends up sharing its height with beasts like Mega Latios and Mega Mewtwo X.
At 7'7", Hariyama is one of the tallest Fighting-type Pokémon inꦏ the entire series, only being outclassed by an Ultra Beast and a Legendary in the forms of Buzzwole and Zamazenta.
6 Seviper – 8'10" 🌳 🎃
There are many, many Pokémon who are deceivingly tall due to their natural stance being coiled up or hunched over, and Seviper is no different. Similarly to Dragon💝air, Seviper is much taller than it ♌initially appears.
The easiest way to spot this difference is in the Pokémon anime, where Jessie has a Seviper while traveling Hoenn to replace her classic Arbok. When coiled, it is only slightly taller ꦯthan Jessie, but s𝔍tanding up straight reveals that it's almost twice her size.
5 Groudon – 11'6" 🧸
With the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:legendary Pokémon featured in Pokémon Ruby, they show the absolute colossal nature of the world of Pokémon. Although, 11'6" seems quite short for how Groudon is usually depicted in animatiꩵons or artworks.
It's only around 1.5 times taller than Sh꧃aquille O'Neal, making it seem as if fans have been lied to for the . 🍒Mega Groudon is a much better depiction of a towering legendary monster, as it gains an extra 5 feet through Mega Evolution.
4 𓃲 Kyogre – 14'9"
It's understandable to see that many players would thin🍎g Kyogre to be much shorter than Groudon, but Pokémon heights are🗹 measured by their full-body length, and Kyogre's horizontal nature makes it seem shorter than Groudon, who stands high and mighty.
This gargantuan whale-like Pokémon actually exclusively sharꦛes its height with other legendary Pokémon, as Gi🌄ratina's Altered Forme and Zygarde's Complete Forme are both 4.5 meters tall.
3 ꩲ Milotic 🐓– 20'4"
Milotic represents one of the most drastic diff♊erences in height in an evolution line, as Feebas is a mere 2 feet tall compared to Milotic at over 20 feet, or 6.2 meters. Again, this Pokémon isn't done justice in the games, as the most a𝄹ccurate depiction would be in the anime with trainers like Wallace and Lusamine.
Milotic is the sixth tallest non-legendary Pokémon in the enti⛄re series and is only shorter than Gyarados, Wishiwashi, Onix, Steelix, Alolan Exeggutor, and the number one spot on this list.
2 💧 ℱ Rayquaza – 23'0"
This eno🐟rmous serpentine Dragon is the fourth tallest legendary Pokémon in the series and the twelfth tallest overall, easily dwarfing Kyogre and Groudon, the other two legendaries featured in the Hoenn region.
If one were to take a look at Mega Rayquaza, they could see an astoun🐼ding 12-foot difference between the two, as Mega Rayquaza stands at 35'5", or 10.8 meters. However, surprisingly, including its Mega form on this list would still keep it at the number two spot.
1 ꦅ Wailord – 47'7"
For a Pokémon that is based on the largest creatures on our modern Earth, it's expected that Wailord should be a hulking beast of amazing proportions. At 47'7", or 14.5 meters, Wailord isn't even the tallest Pokémon in the series, as Eternatus is a s𒈔taggering 65'7", or 20 meters.
If one were to be as realistic as possible while looking at Wailord, it really should be the tallest Pokémon in the series, as blue🌼 whales can easily dwarf Wailord by reaching lengthꦯs of up to 100 feet.
