With Crown Zenith, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon TCG bids farewell to Galar - to the Sword & Shield era that has defined it over the past four years. In leaving behind the Sword & Shield era, the trading card game is also ending coverage of its 'V' mechanic in future cards. This makes sense, as Pokemon V, inspired by the video games' Dynamax and Gigantamax, have represented Galar more than anything else.

But Crown Zenith is a fond farewell, packed with plenty of V, VMAX, and VSTAR cards. It's the second of those three categories that we'll rank today, the biggest and frequently the most powerful of the titans, the almighty Pokemon VMAX.

6 𒊎Deoxys VMAX

Deoxys VMAX

With high HP, a 160-damage attack that serves as a bonus Potion for 30 HP restoration, and an ability that singles out enemy Pokemon VSTAR in a meta where VSTARs can soar, Deoxys VMAX is a perfectly solid card. The only trouble is, with a relatively scant six VMAX cards to rank between, but all of them winners, 'perfectly solid' is outclassed by what's to come.

It's worth noting that Deoxys VMAX was released for the Black Star Promo series first before being brought into Crown Zenith's extensive card list. While we don't always consider cards dawned elsewhere, we've elected to do so here since Crown Zenith's own VMAX offerings are slight. (There's a much firmer focus on VSTAR!)

5 ܫ Hatterene VMAX

Hatterene VMAX Crown Zenith

Hatterene VMAX can slot itself neatly into decks designed with a trickster's tactics in mind. Its ability to move two damage counters of yours over to your opponent's Active Pokemon per turn can be ruthless when combined with other counter-crossing antics, though we might have been head-over-heels for Hatterene had The Pokemon Company opted to let us move that damage to benched targets as well.

Don't underestimate G-Max Smite; 150 damage at the VMAX level is, indeed, a bit middling. But confusion can cripple - and it's often an unanticipated potential malady when folks prep their decks.

4 Duraludo💞n VMAX

A Single Strike VMAX in Crown Zenith is a pleasant surprise. Duraludon VMAX's Skyscraper ability is clearly designed with other Single/Fusion Strike threats in mind, as well as anyone else who taps into Special Energy cards as the source of their strength. In the right hands, and against the right, er, enemy hands, Duraludon VMAX is a heck of a wall.

G-Max Pulverization is great for breaking through opposing walls. If you've ever dealt with tool-strapped, damage-resistant, stone-faced Dubwool (no really, it can happen) Duraludon will soon be your best friend.

3 Pikaꩲchu VMAX

Pikachu VMAX Crown Zenith

The legendary chonker returns with Pikachu VMAX, an over-the-top celebration of our beloved electric rodent's old-school design. We dig the game-changer Tail Charge can be when used properly to fuel either another powerhouse card or Pikachu VMAX itself - it's the utility allowing that choice that really turns our heads.

A reliable 250 damage via G-Max Thunder, zero strings attached, syncs terrifically with Tail Charge. Attach a single Energy, grab three from discard, and on the second turn, you can hit with 250. And on the third, 250. Fourth? 250. It's kind of scary.

2 ꦯ ꦇ Zeraora VMAX

Zeraora VMAX Crown Zenith

Our second favorite VMAX in Crown Zenith, Zeraora joins Pikachu in the Electric realm with a bit more HP but arguably a tad less oomph. 240 damage with two discards is only going to sting less if you've got a good engine going to bring that Energy back (Pikachu VMAX fits the bill, in fact, though we're not sure offhand just how far you can take that synergy).

What brings Zeraora VMAX so far, of course, is Reactive Pulse. 60 damage for every Pokemon in your opponent's field with an ability might not sound amazing on paper (or digital screen), but when you think just how many decks these days are stacked with cards that are there first and foremost for their abilities, we dare say there are plenty of instances in which Zeraora can clean house for up to 360 damage.

1 𝓰 Rayquaza VMAX 💧

Rayquaza VMAX Crown Zenith

The versatility involved in Azure Pulse speaks for itself; there are just too many times in far too many games when a sudden three-card pull to extinguish a sour (or nonexistent) hand is precisely what the doctor ordered to turn a rough round around. Rapid Strike Rayquaza VMAX's an absolute powerhouse, though, and we reckon that's what it'll be remembered for.

Two-type decks have plenty of use on their own, but Pokemon VMAX that take advantage of both types in their bid to tear the house down? Now, those decks are something special. Max Burst starts at a measly 20 damage for a Fire and Electric Energy, which is obviously... not great, but every Fire or Electric Energ꧙y discarded netꦅs another 80 damage.

Right off the bat, then, you can hit for 180 by d𓃲iscarding both - but imagine, if you will, hooking up three of each. At that point, the 500 damage you can inflict is f𝓰rankly silly; nothing needs to get hit that hard, but the point is, even the most titanic of foes will crumble.
