With 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:each new expansion, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon TCG landscape evolves further as new powerful cards are inജtroduced. Crown Zenith marks the end of the Sword & Shield era of the card game and brings a lot of goodies as a parting gift.
This is a set full of alternate art and unique illustrations. While not as powerful as Silver Tempest, Crown Zenith is a joy to look at and appreciate. That's not to say the set is a complete wash, though. After all, Crown Zenith has some really exciting Pokemon of each type. 168澳洲幸运🌞5开奖网:Fi🍃re, being the most offensive generally, comes with some h𒈔eavy hi𝓀tters that could make a mark in the meta.
10 💧 Salandit & Larvesta 🔴
Far gone are the days of single-prize decks ruling the game and being sought after. Even back in the day, though, when single-prize cards could be competitively viable, non-evolved Pokemon were ra𝔉ther weak.
Although very rarely, some non-evolved single-prize Pokemon have an ability or attack that makes them preferable over their evolved form. Unfortunately, that's not the case for Larvesta and Salandit. These two are weak Pokemon, only usable as a stepping stone to their evolved form, which themselves are rather lackluster.
9 Salazzle
Salandit is a beloved Pokemon in general. The first Fire/Poison-type and a very slick design made it quite popular. Unfortunately, this card doesn't live up to the hype of the Pokemon itself. Its 120 HP isn't great, and both of its attacks are borderline useless.
Tail Trickery allows you to confuse the opposing Pokemon and Super Singe burns them. Neither condition is consistent or strong enough to warrant a Pokemon that only manages to spread them. The damage output is very low on top of that. At least the card art is 🍸pretty.
8 Entei
Entei 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is a Legendary Pokemon. That means it has to be strong, right? It's sad to see a Pokemon that is weaker than it should be in video games get a weak card too. After all, any Pokemon can be strong in the TCG. Sadly, Entei isn't.
Entei being a Basic Pokemon with 120 HP, is not bad at first glance. It also has the ability, Explosive Heat Dash, which removes Entei's Retreat Cost if it has any Fire Energy attached. While that could be a great ability on a strong Pokemon, it leads to nothing with Entei. Only able to hit the opponent for 90 Damage, Entei ends up being rather useless.
7 Volcarona
Volcarona is another Pokemon that's incredibly popular and whose card leaves a lot to be desired. To be fair, Volcarona is not a complete wash. It has a respectable 130 HP and can deal 120 Damage with Volcanic Heat for only two energy.
What keeps Volcarona back is the fact that it's a Stage One Pokemon. Volcarona could work really well as a Basic Pokemon, but the card isn't worth the time you're wasting to evolve it from a Larvesta. Many Basic Pokemon do what Volcarona does better and a whole lot faster.
6 Volcanion
Volcanion is the best Fire-type Pokemon in Crown Zenith without bei🌄ng special like Vs or Radiants. Volcanion has 130 HP and can deal 80 Damage, +80 more if it has a Water-type En♑ergy attached to it.
Running Water-type energies might feel counterintuitive since many decks in the Pokemon TCG focus on one main type to increase consistency. While Volcanion may not be meta-defining, it's a decent card for sure. Especially in single-prize formats like Gym Leader Challenge.
5 Cha꧙rizard V
Charizard is as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:close as Pokemon has t🌠o a secondary mascot, rivaling the popularity of Pikachu itself. Thus, many Charizard cards ꧑are printed to be strong to increase demand. Charizard V is no exceptiඣon.
Charizard V can use Incinerate to discard all Pokemon Tools from your opponent's Active Pokemon or Heat Blast to deal a sizable hit of 180 Damage. This card is sure to see play as a stepping stone for Charizard VSTAR, but it's also fine on its own.
4 🦄 Simisear🧔 V
Simisear has never been under the spotlight. It's part of a rather forgettable trio and has never been competitively relevant. This changes with Crown Zenith, as Simisear V is among the best cards in the set. With 210 HP and a very useful accelerating attack in Bursting Power, which allows you to attack two Basic Energies from your hand to your Pokemon, it's time has come.
That alone could lead to Simisear V being used in many decks, but it also has some decent damage potential with its move, Flare Juggling. This attack deals 90 Damage, plus 30 more for each energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokemon. With cheap energy acceleration and decent damage, Simisear V is the complete package.
3 ꦜ Radiant Charizard
Radiant Pokemon are interesting. You can only have one in your deck, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:they are usually very powerful, despite still being single-prize Pokemon. Radiant Charizard is an amazing attacker that could act as a great finisher in close games. Its ability, Excited Heart, lowers the cost of Radiant Charizard's attacks for each Prize card your opponent has taken.
This means Radiant Charizard works best in the late game as a sort of finishing card. This is seen in its on𒆙ly attack, too, Combustion Blast. This move costs one Fire-type and four Colorless Energy and deals 250 Damage. This sort of damage is capab꧟le of taking VSTAR Pokemon out in a single hit when combined with a Tool like Choice Belt.
2 Charizard VSTAR 𒊎
Charizard V has already been mentioned as a very strong card from Crown Zenith, but it has nothing on the power levels of Charizard VSTAR. This incredible attacker has 280 HP and can deal 130 Damage, plus 100 more if it's damaged at all. Dealing 230 Damage consistently is invaluable in and of itself.
The VSTAR Power of this card is Star Blaze. By discarding two energies from Charizard, you can deal 320 Damage. That's amazingly powerful and can simply delete one of your opponent's 'mons, regardless of how beefy it is. Even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:VMAX Pokemon cannot tank such a hit, especially if it's boosted slightly by an outside source.
1 𒆙 Simisear VSTAR
The only thing better than firing off a one-time gigantic attack is being able to also consistently deal sizable damage. Simisear VSTAR does just that and thus edges out✨ Charizard VSTAR in terms of power. Fi꧒nally, some love for Simisear is warranted.
With the attack Fireball Fever, you may discard up to five cards from your deck and increase the damage of the attack by 40 for each card. Considering the base 40 Damage, that's a move with 240 base power, with little drawback. The VSTAR Power, Ember Star, deals 30 Damage times the number of Energy cards in your discard pile. That's incredibly easy to manipulate in the current meta and can climb to absurd numbers easily. Simisear VSTAR is the best Fire-type in Crown Zenith due to how strong and self-synergetic it is.
