This set introduces some excellent Trainers and Pokemon. It mainly focuses on the mostly forgotten mechanic of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lost Zone, and has cards that synergize with it toꩲ a great extent. The Pokemon TCG stays consistent in releasing impactful sets, it seems, so here are some of th⭕e best cards you can include.

10 ♍ Finneon & The "Swim Freely" Package

Finneon from Lost Origin with blurred background

This is an interesting set of cards you can find in Lost Origin. The card that enables the combo is Finneon. With its ability Oceanic Accompaniment, it allows you to attach Water-type Energy as often as you like to a Pokemo๊n with the Swim Freely attack.

While there are a couple more, the best option appears to be Dewgong. Its attack, Floe Return, does 40 damage for each Water Energy you elect to shuffle back into your deck. With Finneon, you can quickly rack up lots of energy, and launch devastating attacks akin to the legacy combo of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Deluge Blastoise and Keldeo-EX.

9 Hisuian Goodra V 👍& VSTAR 🥃

Hisuian Goodra VSTAR from Lost Origin with blurred background

Hisuian Goodra, while it may look liꦡke the♏ saddest Pokemon in the set, has no reason to feel that way. The base V form has little to contribute, but the VSTAR form is quite good indeed.

Hisuian Goodra VSTAR is a whole other beast, though. Its attack Iron Rollout d𒆙eals 200 damage and reduces incoming damage by 80 for a turn. This, combined with its VSTAR Power Moisture Star, which heals it completely, makes Goodra a🌜 viable wall, potentially outliving your opponent as you rack up damage.

8 Hisuian Zoroark V & VSTAR 🐟

Hisuian Zoroark does not appear to be as impactful as some other cards in this set, but it's far from bad. Unfortunately, the base form is not useful, meaning the VSTAR form carries this duo.

Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR is your quintessential damage dealer. The Baneful Curse attack deals 50 damage for each of your Pokemon with damage counters. This combines well with Gengar and Damage Pump, also released in this set. The VSTAR Power Phantom Star is a free Professor's Research, letting you discard your hand and draw seven cards, which is always a helpful effect.

7 💛 Gift Energy ꧋

Gift Energy from Lost Origin with blurred background

Gift Energy is the only 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Special Energy released in Lost Origin. However, despite being the only one, it's absolutely worth mentioning, as it has a great effect.

It provides only one Colorless Energy, but if the Pokemon it's attached to is Knocked Out by an attack, you draw cards until you have seven in your hand. This is similar to an older Pokemon Tool named Lucky Egg. Having the same effect on an Energy makes it even better, giving you a positive effect if you lose your Pokemon.

6 Cramorant

Cramorant from Lost Origin with blurred background

Cramorant is one of the better single-prize cards released in this set, if not the best. Its Lost Supply ability makes Cramorant attack without Energy if you have four 🍷or more cards in your Lost Zone, so it already has excellent synergy with other cards of the༺ set.

Being a single-prize card, Cramorant is perfect for sending out early to cripple your opponent's larger Pokemon, preparing for future Knock-Outs. In addition, it requires no Energy to attack in the right circumstances, so you can load up your bench as Cramorant goes in on whatever it sees.

5 Colress's Experiment

Colress' Experiment from Lost Origin with blurred background

Colress has had some really useful cards in the past, and Colress's Experiment from this set seems to be in the same vein. It allows you to look at the top five cards of your deck, put three of them into your hand, and put the other ones into the Lost Zone.

While drawing three cards is not out of the ordinary in the Pokemon TCG, sending cards to the Lost Zone as a bonus is fantastic. This is an excellent addition as a Lost Zone engine card for decks that use it as a resource. Some other cards from this set make this Supporter absolutely worth including in your list. Colress just keeps being a cool guy, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:just like in the games.

4 Comfey

Comfey from Lost Origin with blurred background

Comfey may seem weak at first glance, but it is a potentially excellent tech card for Lost Zone decks. It h🎀as the ability Flower Selecting, letting you draw two cards, keep one, and send the other to the Lost Zone.

We've already mentioned how strong the Lost Zone package from this set seems to be, and Comfey is infinitely splashable on decks utilizing the mechanic. It can be used with several Comfey via Air Balloon, Scoop Up Net, and other cards that let you switch. If you plan on loading up your Lost Zone for the likes of Giratina VSTAR and Mirage Gate, Comfey is worth considering.

3 Thorton

Thorton from Lost Origin with blurred background

Thorton is✱ a supporter card that lets you replace one of your Pokemon in play with a Basic Pokemon from the discard pile. This has similarities with the great card♕ of older formats, Ninja Boy.

Swapping out a Pokemon that sets up fast with a damage dealer that has trouble setting up is an incredible effect. This combines beautifully with Regigigas, Radiant, and amazing rare cards. You can set up seve🏅ral Energy with Regigigas, and swap into a Rꦐadiant Charizard or an Amazing Rare Yveltal for colossal damage.

2 ꦜ Mirage Gate

Miraga Gate from Lost Origin with blurred background

Mi🔴rage Gate might be a good enough reason to play the Lost Zone engine, as it has an incredible effect that any deck would love to utilize. However, it has a condition: you can only play this card if you have seven or more cards in the Lost Zone.

The effect totally makes up fo𒅌r that, though. You can search your deck for up to two Basic Energy of different types and attach them to your Pokemon. W♛hile searching for Energy is not that rare, free attachment through an item card is not common at all. This is especially strong on Pokemon that utilize several types of Energy, of course.

1 G⛎iratina V & VSTAR

Giratina VSTAR from Lost Origin with blurred background

Giratina is the cover Legendary of this set, and for good reason. Giratina V is already decent, as its Abyss Seeker attack allows you to draw and put cards into the Lost Zone, like Colress's Experiment. Shred is not a bad attack in a pinch, either.

However, Giratina VSTAR is where it's at with this duo. The Lost Impact attack is already great, dealing a huge 280 damage and putting two Energy into the Lost Zone as a bonus. Its VSTAR Power, Star Requiem, requires that you have at least ten cards in the Lost Zone, and it immediately Knocks Out the opposing Pokemon. This is an excellent example of a strong boss monster.
